My Review: The great folks over at The Chocolate Nation sent me my Valentine’s Day gift early so that I could write a review for all of you! (Hint ~ it’s time to get shopping for those Valentine’s Day Gifts). I received a gorgeous red heart candy box that was filled with yummy chocolate candies!
The heart box is handmade from a paper mache type of material and the lid is hinged so once your chocolates are gone it makes a great keepsake box! Each box has a gorgeous ribbon bow on it so it is ready for your gift giving needs. This heart shaped box is loaded with delicious little chocolates! Here are a few of the flavors that it includes: Burnt Caramel & Hawaiian Sea Salt, Strawberry Lemon Ganache, Lemon Marzipan, Tangerine Ganache, Coconut Truffle, Pistachio Truffle, Dark Chocolate Truffles and Passion Fruit Ganache to name just a few. Actually…there are 16 different flavored chocolates inside this box!
I decided to not be ‘greedy’ and shared my box of chocolates with my hubby and my 25 year old daughter. My favorite was the Passion Fruit Ganache, Hubby loved the Coconut Truffle and my daughter was head over heels in love with the Strawberry Lemon Ganache. As you can see, there is something for everyone’s taste buds with this delicious assortment.
Overall Impression: This Heart Box Chocolate Set is available from The Chocolate Nation for only $29.00 which is very affordable for high quality artisan made gourmet chocolates. I don’t know about you but I would rather receive high quality chocolates for Valentine’s Day than flowers that die in 2 days! The beautiful heart shaped keepsake box is stunning and I am going to use it to store mementos in it. The chocolates tasted fresh and they were delicious…love the unique combination of flavors!
