One of the chores I dislike the most is Laundry. Definitely a necessary evil as far as I am concerned. So when I was asked to do this review, I was thrilled because it could mean a time saver for me!
The Robby Wash Ball is such a cool item. It is a laundry ball that is designed to be used in both cold and hot water for 12 months on average while keeping the softness and colors maintained in your clothing. It does not require any additional detergent or additives to clean clothes. It is so simple to use – just put it in the wash. The Robby Wash Ball makes doing the laundry very easy and saves you the hassle of lugging home large containers of laundry detergent. Just keep the refill ball full of the maco-molecule pellets for optimum clean.
Created by Oransi, a company based in Austin, Tx. They also manufacture air purfiers and ionic purifiers to keep your air clean and free from allergens. They believe that “If we can save you money and it helps the environment – that is the right thing to do”.
The Review: Shelly and I each got to review this product. I got my Robby Wash Ball so fast! It was literally the next day LOL. So I have been able to complete several loads of laundry since I got my wash ball. It is pretty impressive. I was sent the fushia ball which is intended for dark loads. The scent is very light and clean. I am amazed with this laundry cleaner. The value is awesome and it cleans very well! The stain stick which is included with each ball does okay. I did have a stubborn stain that I needed to pretreat and it lightened it, but did not remove it. I will just use the stick on easier stains.
The pack you get comes with a Robby Ball and 3 refill packets of cleaner. The ball has a rubber ring around it so it makes no noise in your washer. It is vented so the molecules stay inside, but the soap can come out. It contains 10 ounces of macro-molecules which can clean for 12 months. This is equivalent to 1200+ ounces (75+ lbs) of laundry soap. Using one Robby Wash Ball can mean a savings of up to $100+ over 200 washes!! That is impressive! Here are a few other facts for you…

Shelly’s Thoughts: I received the Robby Wash Ball a few days ago and once I got it I was anxious to give it a try. After reading through the instructions, I placed the ball into my washing machine. I was really skeptical on how this laundry ball would work and was afraid it would make a lot of noise when my washer would be on the spin cycle. I was pleasantly surprised that I didn’t hear it clunking around in there at all. I loved that this ball doesn’t make a boat load of suds as I get frustrated with laundry products that make too many suds and leave a soap film onto our clothing…this product did not do that at all.
My grand daughter had a stubborn stain on the front of her shirt so I pretreated the stain with the stain stick that is included in the kit. I then washed the shirt in with other clothing items. Once I took them out of the washer, I was again surprised to see that the stain was MUCH lighter than what it had been…barely noticeable now. (will admit…the stain stick didn’t totally remove the stain but it did get most of it out). On another note, I did notice that I didn’t need to use fabric softener or dryer sheets as our clothing items didn’t come out clingy so that is a huge plus in my book! Overall, I really like the Robby Washing Ball and will continue to use it!
