I have a very cool item that I want to tell you about today. Moms are the go to people when it comes to kitchen ware and cooking products, so I am excited to tell you about this neat company and their products. Ceramcor is the company name and they are the creator of the coolest Ceramic Stove Top and Oven Cookware called Xtrema Cookware. I have never used this type of product before so I was so excited to try it out for you.
So what’s the big deal about Ceramic Cookware? Well, lots of things. First off, using it is a very healthy way to cook as there is no chemically added items to this cookware at all that comes off during the cooking process. It is a green product because of its manufacturing process. “Our innovative ceramic product is 100% green and environmentally safe and non-toxic. The Review
I was jazzed when I got my box from the UPS dude. My hubby loves to cook breakfast so I told him I got him something(HAHA). We opened up the box and discovered a cool shaped skillet. It is called the Xtrema Flair Skillet, which is from their first non-stick line. This 9″ Non- Stick Flair skillet is PFOA free with a silicone handle pot holder included. The Xtrema Flair Skillet has a ceramic non-scratch, gloss black finish outside and a 100% Non- Stick PFOA Free inside coating. The Flair skillet has a unique shape to it which makes it great for cooking omelets and eggs or grilled sandwiches. Its fairly deep as well so even a quick sauce or something like that would work well in this too.
Hubby decided he was going to make omelets for us. I have always stunk at making omelets for some reason. (Maybe this skillet will help me now – HA). The skillet heated up well and evenly and you really did not need additional fats in this pan. It is very slick and the eggs slid around well and cooked pretty evenly. The handle did not get hot at all even without the silicone pot holder. Super easy to clean up and the omelets were delicious!
I really enjoy using this skillet. I have used it several times now and each time the food comes out cooked well. I would love to get additional pieces down the line. I think the wok would be really cool too!
