I love a good Margarita! I have been in love with them since I first moved to California and discovered Mexican food and giant Margaritas. Ohh Ya! So, you gotta know I was so thrilled to be able to review this companies products for you. Lime Tree Cove has the coolest gourmet cocktail rimmers, cocktail salts and sugars and barware around.
The main product at Lime Tree Cove is this awesome Drink Glass Rimmer called The Barmaid. Developed by the owner, Tim McCaffery who needed a better way to prepare rimmed cocktails and if you have ever prepared and enjoyed a salted or sugared drink, you know it needed an update! Also, Tim developed Lime Tree Cove’s Cocktail spices which use the finest blends of all natural spices using only natural ingredients with no artificial colors, flavors, or preservatives.
The Review
I was sent one of The Barmaid’s along with the The Margarita Fiesta Cocktail Sampler of salts. This sampler pack has:
Tangy Lime Cocktail Salt for ultimate margarita
Spicy Chili Cocktail Salt for spicy margaritas
Premium Sea Cocktail Salt for regular margaritas
Fresh Lemon Cocktail Sugar for sweet margaritas
I was soo excited to use this. I love making a lovely margarita on the weekends and enjoy them with my girlfriends when we play bunco as well. I couldn’t wait to use this! So, being the nice person that I am, I brought my Barmaid and Sampler Pack along with me to bunco. It was the perfect night to try it out as we had Lemon Drops tonight and the Lemon Cocktail Sugar was a perfect addition. Oh, it was fabulous! No squeezing lemons to get enough juice out. No scraping lemon rind to add into the sugar. Just cut a lemon wedge and run The Barmaid around the rim of the glass. Perfect application. All of my girlfriends love this thing and it will be brought to every girls night out! I already have the next pack of samplers picked out to compliment the bar.
I love this thing! It is a great addition to every bar. I love the different flavor combinations of Salt and Sugars to use with The Barmaid that Lime Tree Cove carry’s. How does Chocolate Raspberry Sugar sound or Spicy Chili Salt? I think the Tangy Lime Salt and the Sweet Mint Sugar sounds great! You have to swing by and check these out. I know you are going to want some for your own bar. Oh, and also, they have a lot of great cocktail recipes on the site as well. They sound so good. I have several marked to try at my next bunco get together.
