The Barbar Eco 8000 Blow Dryer uses the latest in technology by using a ceramic heating element, as opposed to all standard blow dryers that use a coil heating element. This ceramic heating element lasts 5 X longer than a coil heating element making it cost efficient. This is a 1000 WATTS blow dryer which is comparable to a 1600 WATTS coil blow dryer. The blow dryer can heat up to 140 degree Celsius or 266 degrees Fahrenheit. The Barbar Eco 8000 Blow Dryer is less damaging to the hair because it produces ‘clean’ heat with no radiation as compared to standard coil heating blow dryers. This blow dryer saves electricity/energy because a ceramic heating element uses 90% of the electricity, turning it into heat. Therefore, no energy is wasted/burned.
My Review: I received the Barbar Eco 8000 Blow Dryer for my product review and I was really excited about getting it. Once it arrived, I got it out of the box and headed for my shower. Once I towel dried my hair…I was ready to get busy with my new blow dryer.
The first thing that I love about this blow dryer is the 11 foot cord! I can walk all over my bathroom with this blow dryer with no problems. I really dislike short cord dryers! Another thing that I am enjoying with this new blow dryer is the fact that it doesn’t have a slew of buttons. You have 2 main buttons and then the cool air shot button and that’s it…which makes it comfortable to hold. (no buttons digging into the palms of your hands). One of my favorite features is that it has multiple heat settings as well as speed settings. You can set it on high heat or low heat according to your own individual needs. What impressed me the most is this…I have short but very thick hair and I had my entire head blow dried in less than 2 1/2 minutes! It usually takes me 5-8 minutes to blow dry my hair but with my new blow dryer…I have cut that time in half!
My Overall Impression: This Barbar Eco 8000 is the best blow dryer I have ever owned! I love the shape and weight of it which makes it comfortable to use. I love the multi-heat and multi-speed settings and I love that those buttons don’t dig into the palm of my hands. I appreciate that nice long 11 ft. cord too! Wow…this blow dryer just rocks!!! I think everyone should go Eco-Friendly and invest in a high quality ceramic coil blow dryer like this fantastic Barbar Eco 8000 dryer! I am giving this product a HUGE 2 thumbs up!
