My Product Review: The generous folks over at Headbands and Hardware sent me one of their stretchy fabric headbands to try out for my product review. However, I just had my hair chopped super short so I decided to let my 26 yr. old daughter wear it. My daughter has very long hair…halfway down her back and its super curly and thick. She doesn’t like tight fighting plastic headbands so she was excited to try this one. We received one that is turquoise, white and navy blue in a classic striped pattern. My daughter really likes her new headband because nothing is digging into her head because it is made of a stretchy fabrication. She can easily toss it on & doesn’t have to fuss with it…which she said is especially nice because she doesn’t have time to be fussing with hair at 6 am in the morning to get ready for work. Another great feature about this headband is that if it gets dirty or you get hair products on it…you can toss it into the washing machine to clean it. However, I recommend air drying it so that the heat from your dry doesn’t break down the fabric.
Overall Impression: My daughter is really enjoying her new headband. It stretches nicely to fit the size and shape of her head with no plastic parts to dig into her. It is easy to use, easy to clean and more importantly, it does hold her thick, long and curly hair with no problems.
