Today I would like to introduce you to a fantastic company called Flashbags based out of Vermont. This company got it’s start back in 2006 by Ali Marchildon and Laura Cheney, both of these young women were former teachers and became fast friends…which eventually led to a business partnership. When you visit the Flashbags web site you will find that it is really user-friendly.
Now you might be asking yourself…what the heck does Flashbags make? Well…today I am going to tell ya! Flashbags makes custom bags, wallets, placemats, tote bags, clutches and more from your favorite photo’s. However, if you don’t have a favorite photo…you can shop from their pre-made designs which are really nice too!

My Product Review: The generous folks over at Flashbags sent me the cutest tote bag featuring a photo I had provided to them of my precious little grand daughter. Once the package arrived and I opened it…I seriously got tears in my eyes…it is just beautiful! The exact tote that I received is the medium box tote measuring 11.5″ x 8.5″ x 4.5″ and it sells for $44.00. The bag is the perfect size to use as an every day purse or tote…I can even see it being used as a diaper bag for those times when you don’t need to carry a full-size one. I chose a photo of my little grand daughter from when we went on vacation this past summer and let me tell you…the printing on this tote is crisp and clear!
The inside of the tote is lined in the same photo print as the outside which I love that because then you are not digging around in a big black hole trying to find your items. Inside the bag is a cell phone pocket so that you can easily grab your phone when it is ringing. The handles on the tote are a jelly-type of rubber or plastic making them light-weight and when you carry the bag…the handles won’t dig into you. I love the flat bottom on the tote because when I sit it down it doesn’t fall over. You can really carry a lot of stuff in this tote! One final thing…the photo is printed on all sides of the bag as well as the inside of the bag.
Overall Impression: I am absolutely in love with my new Flashbags tote! It is extremely well-made, comfortable to use, light-weight and gorgeous! I plan on using my tote as an actual handbag! My order arrived quickly to my home and was well packaged.
