My Review: The kind folks over at CitiBlocs sent me their starter 50 piece set in the natural wood for my product review. I was really excited to be doing this review because I spend a lot of time with my 10 and 12 year old nephews & 11 year old god son…all 3 of these boys enjoy building things so I knew the CitiBlocs would be a big hit here at Aunt Shelly’s house.
Once my package arrived, I invited the boys down to play a few days ago and we got out the block set. My husband spent 5 minutes showing the boys how they can build houses, buildings and other things out of the blocks and then we left the boys alone to see what they could do. Let me tell you…they loved these blocks! All 3 of them spent 2 hours constructing things with the blocks…once one thing was built…they would knock it down and start all over again building something else. What is really cool about these blocks is that they are all the same size and shape. There is no glue, no snaps, no clips…nothing but plain light-weight wooden blocks. My husband said it reminds him of building a house out of playing cards which he used to do when he was a young kid.

My Overall Impression: My package arrived to my home super quick…matter of fact…within days of my order being placed. I love that the CitiBlocs are light weight because we often travel and these would be perfect to take along in our luggage or tote bag. I love that you can build all kinds of different things using the CitiBlocs and never build the same exact thing twice. These wonderful blocks will provide hours upon hours of good creative play among children and they are great for one child or a group of children to play with. The final thing I want to mention is how affordable these CitiBlocs are…can you believe that a 50 piece set only costs $10.99? Wow…what an affordable Birthday and/or Christmas Gift they would make!
