Buddy Fruits – Great Fruit Snack for Kids
Today I would like to introduce you to a product called Buddy Fruits. Buddy Fruits are a pure blended fruit in these handy squeezable pouches. It is real fruit, all natural, no sugar added, no preservatives, no colorings, no additives, no fat, no water added and they are only 60 calories per serving.
The Buddy Fruits don’t need any type of refrigeration until after you open them….then you would want to keep them refrigerated for up to 24 hours. I think that is just fabulous because it makes them great for diaper bags, school lunch boxes and for snacks while on the go. The pouches are not recommended for children under the age of 3…so if you are giving them to a young toddler, squeeze out the Buddy Fruit into a bowl.
My Review: I received 4 different flavors to try out for my product review and received the following flavors: Apple & Strawberry, Apple & Banana, Apple & Multi-Fruit and Apple & Cinnamon. The first one I tried out was the Apple & Banana one because…well…I love bananas! I was pleasantly surprised to see that it looked like applesauce when I squeezed it out of the pouch and I was even more surprised at how great it tasted! It was the perfect blend of apples and bananas!
Hubby decided he wanted to try one out since he is a big fan of flavored applesauce’s and he picked out the Apple & Multifruit flavor. He had the entire pouch gone in less than 3 minutes…raved about how good it was! Since we were babysitting our little grand daughter, I decided to give her the Apple & Strawberry one for her afternoon snack and she loved it….even more so than regular flavored applesauce! yeah! The 4th flavor that we got to try out was the Apple & Cinnamon and it was just as tasty as the other 3 varieties.
Overall Impression: All of the Buddy Fruits were fresh and delicious tasting! I loved that they are the consistency of smooth applesauce. I think they are fabulous for on the go or at home snacking! I would love to see even more flavors added to this line in the future.
