Ayala’s Herbal Water
Today I would like to introduce you to Ayala’s Herbal Water which contains zero calories, zero artificial flavors and zero preservatives, as their slogan says…Zero is good! Ayala’s Herbal Water comes in 6 refreshing flavors: Lemongrass Mint Vanilla, Lavender Mint, Ginger Lemon Peel, Cinnamon Orange Peel, Cloves Cardamom Cinnamon and Lemon Verbena Geranium.
Here is some info given to me by the company: The Herbal Water story begins in the spring of 2005, in the garden of Ayala Laufer-Cahana, M.D. A passionate cook, pediatrician, talented artist and lifelong vegetarian, Dr. Ayala has spent years exploring healthy, tasty ways to feed children and adults. Seeking an alternative to sugar-laden & artificially flavored beverages, Dr. Ayala created her own blends of herb infused waters that magically satisfy thirst & restore the spirit. With these herbal waters you will find great taste from pure waters that have been infused with the finest natural herbs from around the world, kept fresh in a beautiful bottle for your enjoyment.
My Review: The gracious folks over at Ayala’s Herbal Water sent me 1 bottle of each of their flavors. The company recommends that you refrigerate their Herbal Waters before tasting and drinking them and I totally agree with that…once they are good and cold, you can really taste the wonderful flavors! The first one that I tried was the Ginger Lemon Peel which has a nice light lemon taste to it…I didn’t really taste the ginger but according to my hubby…he did. I must admit…this one was my favorite! The next one that we tried was the Cinnamon Orange Peel which was my second favorite. It had a nice citrus orange taste to it with a hint of cinnamon. I am usually not a fan of orange flavored beverages but I will fess up…I did enjoy this one! The third one I left my hubby try and it was the Clove Cardamom Cinnamon flavor since I am not a big fan of cloves. He really liked the spicy flavorful taste of this one…he said it was way better than herbal tea so I think it’s a big winner with him. The fifth bottle went to my 61 year old mother and she selected to try out the Lavender Mint Lemongrass Thyme. She enjoyed the refreshing taste of it and told me that she loved the combination of mint & lemon in it. I asked her if she would ever purchase it and drink it again and she told me YES! The final bottle went to my 26 year old daughter and she selected the Lemon Verbena Geranium and she took hers to work in her lunch bag. She told me that she loved the light taste of the lemon and that it was very refreshing…she felt energized after lunch but not all hyped up on sugar like she would with a regular soft drink…which she stated she was more productive in the afternoon in getting her work completed. If you ask me…that is fantastic! yeah…I have been trying to convert her to healthier beverages and I think Ayala’s Herbal Water might just be the ticket for her!
Overall Opinion: My entire family enjoyed the Ayala’s Herbal Water! We had never tried herbal water before so I wasn’t sure if we would like it. We each had our own favorite flavors (see above). I highly recommend that you check out Ayala’s Herbal Water and give it a try…I think you will be glad that you did! You can get a $5.00 OFF Coupon by signing up for their newsletter.
