My Review: I received a wonderful craft kit that I was recently able to review with my 2 nephews age 8 and 10. You see….both of my nephews are into art & crafts and are very creative so I was really excited to sit down with them last weekend and open up this kit. The kit comes with 2 hardcover books…one is about 8.5″ in size and the second one is a little smaller than that one so there was one book for each of them to complete. The kit comes with stickers, markers and some design ideas to get you started. C decided his book would be about nature and kids and D decided his would be about imaginery monsters so I knew I had my hands full with 2 very creative little boys. Even though they had thought about their designs ahead of time…trust me, they changed along the way. Everything in the kit was high quality, easy to use and the instructions/ideas were easy to follow. As the afternoon grew on, the boys added some of their own artwork, stickers and other craft supplies that I had here to the mix which made it even more fun for them. This kit kept them totally entertained for over 3 hours!!!
Overall Opinion: The boys and I loved this kit…I loved that it came with some supplies and we added more of our own things to it to expand their creativity even more. Children love to be creative, to make up & tell their own stories and what a great way to preserve their very ‘own’ story in a cute pop-up book that they made themself. My nephews are 8 & 10 and I did have to help them with making their books so I do think adult help will be needed with some children. Overall….a great creative craft kit to sit down and do with children…both boys and girls would enjoy it!
