The Toffee Box Candy
I have a delicious treat for you today! Heather from The Toffee Box showed me some love this week and shared her company with The Chics. Heather and her hubby have been making toffee for about 15 years and decided to share it with others since they continued to get so many rave reviews from friends and family. The Toffee Box is a family owned company out of Carlsbad, CA and they make white and dark chocolate almond toffee. The recipe is old (a secret family recipe from my husband’s mother) but the business is fairly new, started last year.
Each batch is hand made to order. No big machines here and no old product being shipped out. In toffee such as this, fresh is best! The Toffee Box offers several flavors at this time. Traditional Dark Chocolate, White Chocolate, Mocha Hazelnut (the newest flavor), White Chocolate Macadamia or you can mix and match a 1 lb box. Umm they all sounds awesome!
The Review
Heather was so kind to send me the Toffee Tower. This deluxe combination gift tower includes one pound of their signature rich, dark chocolate toffee and 1/2 pound of creamy, white chocolate toffee. Wrapped with an elegant ribbon, this is the ultimate toffee lover’s indulgence. And for a Toffee Lover like me, it was like getting heaven on earth!
The box arrived super fast with a chill pack inside the box to help offset the heat of California. The box was beautifully presented in brown and green with a lovely ribbon holding the two together. Inside, the toffee was packaged in separate foil bags to keep it as fresh as possible and so your toffee doesn’t mix together. Everything was perfect!
I opened the White Chocolate first and the toffee was just wonderful. The chocolate is smooth and creamy and the toffee was crisp and delicious and oh so buttery. The Dark Chocolate I tried the following day, and yes it, was hard to wait! Oh gosh, it is just awesome!! The toffee is covered in chocolate and then covered with crushed Walnuts. I have a hard time finding all of the right adjectives to describe the taste sensation. You are just going to have to try it for your self!
I am so happy to have tried this product. I just love it! I know that with the Holidays right around the corner this will be an awesome gift idea!
