How I Use Simple Green Cleaning Products to Clean My Home
Today I would like to introduce you to the company called Simple Green. This wonderful company makes a line of cleaning products that are fantastic! I have always been interested in using green products for my household cleaning but I haven’t found any that got the job done until now.
Simple Green has a line of cleaning products called Simple Green Naturals which are 100% naturally derived, with ingredients originating from nature: chicory, coconut, corn, palm, naturally occurring minerals, salt and sugar, and water. Wow…no nasty chemicals to hurt our families, our homes or the environment.
My Review: Simple Green was generous enough to send me 7 full-size Simple Green Naturals cleaning products to test out for my product review. I received the Dishwashing Liquid, the Liquid Hand Soap, Multi-Surface Care, Bathroom Cleaner, Glass and Surface Care, Floor Care and the Carpet Care to try out in my home.
The first product I decided to try was the Liquid Hand Soap. I love how this hand soap is not too sudsy as I am not into a lot of suds. The hand soap did a great job of cleaning my hands and afterwards they were super soft.
The second product I decided to use was the Liquid Dishwashing Soap. I have a dishwasher but I do hand wash my china and crystal glassware items so I used it to wash my crystal beverage pitcher, 2 crystal glasses and my butter dish. This Liquid Dishwashing Soap is fantastic. It removed all of the food/beverage particles including the grease from the butter dish with ease. My crystal dishes also dried spotless!
The third product I tried was the multi-surface care and I used that on the fronts of my stove, oven door, kitchen cabinets and the front of my refrigerator/freezer. Wow….it removed all of the dirt and grime and left them shiny & spotless!
The fourth product I tried was the Bathroom Cleaner and trust me, my tub/shower was dirty thanks to hubby! I sprayed the tiled shower walls, ceramic soap dishes & towel bar and the inside of the tub with the cleaner and left it sit for 5 minutes. After that, I took my damp sponge and wiped them down and the grime came right off! I didn’t have to do any heavy duty scrubbing nor were there any stinky fumes. Wow….I am really impressed with this product!
The fifth product I tried was the Glass & Surface Care and I used that on my brushed nickel bathroom fixtures and mirrors. I can’t get over how easy it cleaned them & left them sparkling clean! The sixth product that I tried was the Floor Care product and I used that on my tiled bathroom & kitchen floors. I lightly sprayed it across my floors and then took my clean damp mop across the floor. It did a great job on my floors and left them sparkling clean. I also appreciated that it left NO FILM on my floors and my floors dried quickly.
The final product that we tried was the Carpet Care. I left my hubby do this one (yes, I made hubby clean too LOL) and he used it on our living room and dinning room carpets. I had a small ice tea stain on the dinning room carpet and this Carpet Care Cleaner took it right out. I love the light fragrance of this and my carpets smell fresh (if you get down to smell them). I really appreciate this because we often have the children over & they sit on the carpet to play their video games.
Overall Impression: I had never tried the Simple Green line of cleaning products until now and I am very happy to say that I am IN LOVE with these products! All 7 of the products I got to try out did the job they were made for and they did it just as good, if not better…than their store brand chemical counterparts! Why use chemicals when you can get the job done with Natural Cleaners? I highly recommend the Simple Green Naturals line of cleaning products to you!
