Today I would like to introduce you to the company known as Tom’s of Maine. This company believes in making products that are safe, effective and made of natural ingredients. On the Tom’s of Maine web site, you will find that every product has a list of ingredients, as well as what those specific ingredients do.
Tom’s of Maine makes a variety of toothpastes, deodorants, mouthwash, dental floss and soaps. This fabulous company does not test their products on animals! For over 40 years now, Tom’s of Maine has produced natural products that are safe for us to use.
My Review: Tom’s of Maine was generous enough to send me their new toothpaste called Long-Lasting Wicked Fresh. This is a fresh breath, anti-cavity toothpaste with flouride in a cool peppermint flavor. I was really excited about giving this toothpaste a try because hubby can have some awful smelling breath at times…especially after he eats hot & spicy foods. This product does not contain sacchyarin, artificial sweeteners, preservatives, colors or animal products. This toothpaste is safe for children age 2 and over, as well as adults. The first thing I noticed about the toothpaste is the color…it’s an off-white color. I put some onto my brush and got busy brushing my teeth. I must say, I was pleasantly surprised that this toothpaste tasted good! You really don’t need a lot of it, I used a pea-sized amount each time I brushed my teeth which was sufficient. My hubby used the toothpaste the same way that I did and we both have been using it for several days now. I asked hubby what he thought about the taste and he said “It’s different, but I like it.” The texture of the toothpaste is the same as any other brand that you would buy.
My Overall Impression: I am very pleased with this product because I have very sensitive teeth & gums and this toothpaste does not irritate me at all. The taste of the toothpaste is pleasant and my teeth feel clean after I have brushed them. In regards to hubby, his bad breath has gotten a lot better. He can go about 6 hours now before I start complaining about his breath again LOL so this toothpaste is definitely helping with that. I love that there are no gels or beads embedded in the toothpaste as I am not fond of those types of toothpastes. If you are looking for a natural and healthier way to brush your teeth, then I think you should give the Tom’s of Maine Long-Lasting Wicked Fresh toothpaste a try.
