Smokey Jo’s Dog Toys
There is a great work at home business that I am so pleased to be able to tell you about today. Smokey Jo’s Toy Box was started as a great way to recycle old toys and to provide a very inexpensive way to treat your dogs to fun toys to play with.
Created by Michelle Arszman, these are upcycled plush toys that are safe for your dog. She removes all unsafe items, like those dreaded beads, buttons and plastic parts. Michelle then replaces the stuffing with new, clean polyfill and add a squeaker [or 2]. The toys are washed and ready to play with when it comes to you. All toys have been pretested for playability by Smokey Jo himself! Our aim is to reuse, keep it CHEAP and have fun!
Smokey Jo’s Toy Box has a great selection of fun, affordable toys for any size dog. Michelle has toys for small sized dogs all the way up to extra large. And what is awesome about this store is that Michelle keeps them affordable so you don’t have to worry about your dog chewing them up. I know it bugs me when I buy my dog a fun new toy and it cost me $10 and its gone in a few hours. Now you have an alternative!
The Review:
Michelle and Smokey Jo’s Toy Box sent my Louie a darling pink Pig. Louie is fond of anything that he can chew and carry around. The eyes and nose are stiched on instead of plastic buttons. The stuffing was replaced and a squeeker put in. The restitching was strong and marginally noticable.
Louie loved playing with the little Pig and making it squeek. I love that I can now choose an item that will be inexpensive and safe for him to play with. We can play fetch, keep away and of course, lets tear it into a bunch of pieces and let mean mom have to throw it away. LOL
I love the fact that Michelle has remade these toys. It is recycling and reusing an item in this manner that is very cool indeed! I think that is awesome and I know you will enjoy her work as well
