Delicious Namaste Foods
Today I would like to introduce you to a company called Namaste Foods which makes a variety of food products that are geared towards people with various food allergies. Namaste Foods has been in business since 2000 and started as a very small business and has grown steadily over the years. This company makes food that contains no wheat, gluten, corn, soy, potato, dairy, casein or nuts in them.
Namaste Foods makes a variety of baking mixes and past dishes such as: Waffles/Pancakes, Chocolate Cake, Vanilla Cake, Spice Cake, Pizza Crust, Muffins, Cookies, Bread, Brownies, Blondies, Sugar-Free Muffins, Perfect Flour Blend, Chocolate Fudge Frosting, Toffee Vanilla Frosting and Biscuits, Piecrust & More Mix. In their Pasta Dish line you will find: Pasta Pisavera, Say Cheez and Taco Pasta.
All of Namaste Foods mixes and pasta dishes are made from all natural ingredients, Kosher Certified and have an outstanding taste. With 18 varieties available, including 8 sugar-free varieties, there is certainly something for everyone, including the pickiest of eaters.

My Review: The generous folks over at Namaste Foods sent me 2 products to try out for my product review. They sent me their Waffles/Pancake Mix and their Spice Cake Mix. The first item that I decided to try was their Spice Cake Mix. This was really easy to make…I simply added the eggs, water and vegetable oil to the mix that came in the bag and within 5 minutes it was ready for my baking dish. I set my oven to 350 degrees and it only took 35 minutes to bake. At first I was going to make some frosting for it but after eating a small piece I decided that it didn’t need it! The cake was delicious all on it’s own. It had a wonderful springy texture to it and it was super moist! Furthermore, it had just the right blend of spices in it. Some spice cakes can be too spicy for my liking…however, this Spice Cake was just perfect! I served a piece to my husband and to my mother…within 5 minutes their piece was gone and both of them asked me for seconds. Wow….it passed by picky eaters taste test!
The following day I decided to make the Waffles/Pancakes mix which was really easy to use too! I decided to only use 1/2 of the pkg. which made 4 large pancakes and I added some milk chocolate chips to my batter to add a little sweet taste to them. At breakfast that morning my hubby ate 2 1/2 pancakes! Usually hubby isn’t a big pancake eater but once he tried these, he couldn’t get enough of them! We both enjoyed the texture and taste of these pancakes and they are so good that you can add just butter on them and save the calories from adding any type of syrup.
Overall Impression: I received my order quickly and the items were well packaged. I appreciated that Namaste Foods included some recipe cards and reading materials in with my shipment so that I could learn more about their company and their products. My family loved both of the products that we got to try out and trust me, I will be purchasing a few more! I think every household pantry should be stocked with a few of Namaste Food’s products! I give them a big 2 oven mitt thumbs up!
