Green & Black’s Organic Chocolates
Today I would like to introduce you to a fabulous company that makes some of the best organic chocolate that I have ever tasted and that company is Green and Black’s Organic Chocolates. This company got it’s start back in 1991 when Craig Sams, founder of Whole Earth – the UK’s pioneering organic food company – was sent a sample of dark 70% chocolate made from organic cocoa beans. His wife picked up his half-eaten bar of chocolate and tried some…you see, his wife is a confirmed choco-holic and fell in love with this chocolate bar. From that time on, This company has been dedicated to bringing the world premium organic chocolate that tastes out-of-this world! The company believes in ethical trading and organic products so they pay the cocoa bean farmers a fair wage. I am sure that we can all appreciate that!
The company sells a variety of chocolate bars, baking products and hot chocolate…surely there is something for everyone who desires the best tasting organic chocolate in the world. When it comes to the organic chocolate bars, you will find: White, Milk, Toffee, Peanut, Almond, Maya Gold, Ginger, Hazelnut & Currant, Cherry, Espresso, Mint, Dark 70% and Dark 85% . When it comes to their line of baking products, you will find: Chocolate Baking Bars, Fair-Trade Cocoa Powder and an Unwrapped Recipe Book. Finally, you will find Hot Chocolate and Fair-Trade Cocoa Powder for all of your hot cocoa needs. Wow…that is a lot of awesome organic chocolate products!
My Product Review: Green and Black’s Chocolates were generous enough to send me and my family 10 of their Chocolate Peanut Bars to try out for our review. My package arrived quickly to my front door and my items were well packaged. As soon as I opened the box, I could smell chocolate! My mouth was watering before I even got a chocolate bar out of the box! These are no ordinary peanut chocolate bars…they are organic chocolate bars with delicious caramelized organic peanuts and just a hint of sea salt. I have tasted hundreds if not thousands of chocolate bars in my lifetime and I have never tasted a chocolate bar as good as this one. It has a nice smooth chocolatey taste and the peanuts give it a nice crunch. I couldn’t taste the sea salt at all…but that is just fine with me since I am all about the chocolate and the peanuts! I must admit, hubby and I devoured that peanut chocolate bar in just a matter of 23 minutes! LOL Seriously…it’s delicious!
My Overall Impression: Wow…Where do I start on this one? I am going to be 100% honest with our blog readers, These chocolate bars are the BEST organic chocolate bars I have ever had! If you ask my husband and mother, they will tell you the same thing! Seriously, If you have never tried Green and Black’s Organic Chocolate, you are really missing out on one of the best chocolate experiences of your life! I highly recommend this company and their organic chocolate products to you and your family.
