Gosh, my job is fun! I have the pleasure of telling you today about some cool handcrafted items from a crafter and handbeader named Dahlia. She creates Wine Glass Gems. She has been making jewelry for over ten years. She had made some wine glass charms for a friend and they went over so well, she decided to create a business just for wine charms. Other businesses only offered a set number of charms and you couldn’t choose colors or charms. Dahlia wanted to create a site that would allow customers the option to buy a pre-made set if they wanted, but also allow them to customize the number, color and specific charms that were used for their special set.
Wine Glass Gems strives to use the best materials available. There are two types of gems Dahlia offers – one made with memory wire and one made with earring wire. The earring wire charms are slightly larger and have a hook.
The Review: Dahlia sent me the cutest set of wine charms to review for you today. Boxed in a beautiful black box tied with a fat ribbon, the charms were packed with shipping material so the charms did not budge. Tied to the box with the ribbon was a beautiful satin bag to store your Wine Glass Gems in when not in use.
The Wine Glass Gems themselves are gorgeous! The theme of the gems is Wine, how perfect is that! They are made on earring wires so you can unhook them and loop them around the glass easily. Awesome. The colorful beads are beautiful, clear Swarovski crystals and there are 8 lead-free pewter charms attached. My set has different colored beads, however if you want a matching set, custom ordering is available with dozens to bead colors to choose from.
There are dozens of different themes you can choose from, or you can design your own. Wine Glass Gems has themes in Animals, Baby/Child, Entertainment, Floral, Holidays, Music, Nature/Garden,
Personalized, Religious, Wedding and Wine/Food/Kitchen. With this many to choose from, I know you will find the perfect set for you or a friend. These make awesome gifts for weddings or for wine lovers. But as Dahlia says, they aren’t just for wine glasses. You can use these in other ways as well…
