Organic Skin Care Products by Lily Organics

August 17, 2010 by Classystaff

I have a real treat for you today. I was able to do a review on a cool company called Lily Organics. Lily Organics is owned by Lily Morgan and they are The U.S.D.A. certified organic growers/skin care company and have been in business since 1986. Lily calls herself the Head Farm Hand which I think is so cute! In all honesty, her family has been farming in the same area for 7 generations, dating back to before the Revolutionary War! So needless to say, farming is in her blood. She grows what goes into your products! It was so vital to Lily that her products contain only pure, natural ingredients that she has trademarked the phrase Purely Botanical(TM) to describe them.

What I think is awesome is that Lily Organics is now the first organic skin care line to hold 3 USDA certifications. This includes:
1. USDA Certified Organic Farm
2. USDA Certified Organic Processor and Handler for the Laboratory
3. USDA Certified Organic Skin Care Product

I think you should know you are getting pure, organic products! Take a few and read more about her farm and processing on the site or on her blog. It is interesting! Lily’s commitment to the using synthetic-free beauty products is huge! She incorporates flowers and plants from her organic farm, essential oils from natural botanicals and organically grown herbs to create Lily Organics Dew Fresh Skin Care(tm). You know these are 100% chemical free ensuring what goes on your face and skin is as gentle and safe as it is effective.

The Review

Lily was so sweet and sent me all kinds of goodies to test. I had fun playing in face stuff! She sent me the Rejuvenating Face Mask. This was so cool. It was almost the texture of honey and looked like honey. Maybe it was was… Just kidding! I left it on almost 20 minutes and it felt so wonderful my face and afterward it felt so smooth and clean! Make sure you pull your hair back as it is kind of sticky.

Seaweed Balancing Facial Cleanser was the next item I used. I used it to remove my makeup and it did a great job. The scent is mild and the texture of the product is nice and smooth. I used the Balancing Facial Toner afterwards and this too was great. It was very refreshing on my face and worked great on finishing my face and getting it ready for my makeup. The Oil Free Skin Conditioning Serum is awesome. This product rocked on the wrinkles around my eyes. Plumped those babies right up and they were hardly noticeable! Love it! I finished my face with the Balancing Facial Lotion. It too was super light and refreshing on my face. It absorbed right in and felt awesome. Not greasy or heavy. And to finish it all off, a lovely lip balm called Kissable Lips. Delightful!

All of the products had very light scents and felt good using them. I liked the non greasy feeling and the way they feel on my skin. What is cool is that Lily has a book that she has written and you can get some sneak peeks on how to care for tons of issues you may have on your skin, and its not just for your face either. Dark circles, acne, skin discolorations, puffy eyes, cellulite and more. Check it out at the Skin Care Cafe. Its a great resource! She even has some recipes on there as well for salt scrubs, cleansers and more.
