I was in for a treat today! I opened the box from Coffee Cup Creations and a beautiful yellow mug was inside with pumpkin bread mix! Oh Yes!
Coffee Cup Creations is a great site that offers a terrific gift idea. Beautiful coffee mugs are packed with delicious mixes that you complete with wet ingredients. What is cool is that you can make right in the mug! It is an inexpensive gift that will please anyone.
The selection of mugs is varied and the selection of mixes is good! You can choose from breads, puddings, cakes, soups and even cookies! Perfect if you want a quick treat or you are dieting and don’t want to bake an entire batch. What a great idea!
The Review:
The folks at Coffee Cup Creations were so kind to send me the Plant Leaves Cup with the Pumpkin Bread inside. The mix was tied with a coodinating bow and it was a very pretty presentation. The mug is a good quality and very pretty as well. I ran to the store and got the pumpkin and baked this baby right up.
The recipe was simple and just needed a few additional ingredients. I mixed it up and poured it in the cup and into the oven it went. 30 Minutes later it was done and cooling. I mixed the glaze packet and waited for it to cool. Why does that always take the longest???? It smelled so good I couldn’t wait to dig in!
Finally it was cool enough so I glazed it and dug in. Crunchy top and moist inside. Not overly sweet; you get the sweetness from the glaze. It had a nice pumpkin flavor. Delicious! And the perfect size for a treat! Awesome!
I love this idea and know several people on my gifting list this would be perfect for!! They are affordable too! Coffee cups – $9.95 Soup cup – $12.95. Additional Mixes are $4.95-$6.95. And what is also great is that the lovely folks at Coffee Cup Creations is going to treat some lucky winner so they can try one as well!
