I have had the pleasure of reviewing a fabulous site featuring handmade beaded and stone jewelry. Bead Euphoria is an amazing site that is owned by Sandra Brand. She works with crystals, pearls, glass, stone handmade lampwork beads, sterling silver, copper and many more formats in her handcrafted business.
Sandra puts so much detail into her work. Here is just some of what you will experience when you purchase an item at Bead Euphoria. Quoting Sandra… “All the jewelry is designed and handcrafted by myself. I choose the best quality beads and findings available, and will discard any beads that look defective. I use primarily sterling silver for clasps, chains, and earwires, unless otherwise noted. For earrings, I use almost entirely sterling silver leverbacks, because they are secure and won’t fall out of the ears, and that prevents losing an earring! Also, most of the sterling silver I use is made in America, and I use tarnish-resistant silver whenever possible. I am careful with craftmanship, being sure that everything is done neatly, keeping alignment straight and even, and making sure there are no sharp edges. I use higher quality beads and findings (metal parts) than most designers, but keep my prices reasonable. I do a lot of custom orders … for brides, bridesmaids, and people who are looking for special gifts, such as charm bracelets, or people who are looking for a piece to match an outfit, or trying to replace a piece that they bought somewhere else, but was lost or damaged.”
Bead Euphoria grew from a hobby in the artsy community of Ashland, Oregon. Lured by the beauty of beads, and how the color, shape, and texture of beads lend them to endless possibilities of design, Sandra says she is always thinking about new ways to put beads together so that each bead is enhanced by those around it, and with the intention that each piece of jewelry is a delight to look at and wear. I think she has captured that and I think you will think so too.
Custom pieces is a large part of Bead Euphoria but looking at the site, you will find the most amazing ready to wear jewelry. I had a hard time deciding what I wanted to review for you. The selection is amazing and the pieces are stunning. Even Elle magazine loves Sandra’s work as Bead Euphoria has been featured twice in their magazine. Aewesome!!
The Review:
Sandra sent me the most fabulous wrap around beaded bracelet called Midsummer Bouquet. Let me tell you that the picture cannot do this piece justice. It is just stunning with glass beads in blues, greens, yellows, turquiose, orange and more. It is an explosion of beauty and it looks awesome on as well. I cannot wait to wear this to work as it will truly go with anything you want to wear! Very fun and eye catching. Oh, I just love it and Sandra must too as she uses it in her logo.
Also in my beautifully hand tied ribbon wrapped box was an amazing pair of stone chandelier earrings called Montana Blue Rivoli Chandelier Earrings. These earrings are the most amazing color blue you can hope for. These hang about an inch from the ear and are a great lenght for work or to dress up an outfit. Not over the top at all, these are very elegant looking and simple in design but just stunning. The big stone has a fabulous cut giving them a star burst inside. Again, photos cannot do this earring justice and I know my camera won’t cut it at all!
Bead Euphoria and the work that Sandra does is awesome. Her talents and perfectionism definately show through. She offers so many different types of jewelry on her site. I know that if you are looking for a special piece for a special person, this is the place to go.
