My Review: For my product review I received the Monki See Monki Do Baby Reading Program DVD Collection that contains 5 DVD’s. The Monki See Monki Do DVD Collection gives you everything you need to successfully teach your baby to read. The Monki See Monki Do DVD’s will entertain your baby while teaching them to read…what can be better than that? Nothing! With these DVD’s you can give your child a head start on learning how to read. The first DVD is called Baby’s First Words and it teaches babies to read & identify their first 40 words, including all their body parts. The second DVD is called All About Colors and it teaches babies to read, recognize and spell all the colors. The third DVD is called All About Shapes and it teaches babies to read, recognize and spell all the different shapes. The fourth DVD is called Memoflix and it offers 80 categories equaling 800 words to teach babies to read & identify hundreds of objects, including animals, vehicles and more. The final DVD is called A Guide To Teaching Babies To Read and it’s full of tips and techniques to teach parents how to optimize their babies reading program. Wow…what a fabulous DVD package!
My Overall Impression: I have a 15 month old granddaughter who I shared the DVD’s with. The first thing that I did was watch the Parent’s Guide video so that I could learn how to best use the system with her. After that, We started with DVD #1 which was Baby’s First Words. Wow…I must admit, I am very impressed with the quality of these DVD’s. Little Gia sat still in her big girl chair and watched the entire video from start to finish. She would laugh, smile and point to the tv screen constantly which means she was very entertained! The music on these DVD’s is top notch…fun to hum or sing along to! I love that each DVD is only 30 minutes in length which is long enough to hold their attention…I don’t like her sitting there watching 2 hour long videos as I feel that is entirely too long for her. So far we are working on DVD’s #1 and #2 and then we will progress to the other two. I give these DVD’s a big 2 Grandma Thumbs Up!!! Seriously, these are awesome videos!
