My Review: Chasing Treasure generously sent me a cherry wood jewelry box made by Reed & Barton for my product review. The style I received is called an earring chest but it can certainly hold necklaces, bracelets, earrings, rings, pins and watches too! This beautiful jewelry box is handcrafted out of cherry wood…when you look at it, it just speaks high quality! I love rubbing my hands across the wood…smooth!!! The chest has a red dior lining that feels soft like velvet. The jewelry earring chest measures 11 7/8″ x 7 7/8″ x 3 1/4″ closed. Once you open it you will find 6 hooks in the lid for hanging bracelets & necklaces. There is a velvet pocket to keep them secure & from getting tangled. There is a lift out tray that has 15 velvet lined compartments to hold earrings, pins and other jewelry items. I love the little brass handles on the side so you can lift it out easily without spilling it. The lift-out tray has cherry wood sides and the bottom is cherry wood too! The bottom inside area is completely lined in the velvet and has 15 more compartments which are great for holding bigger pieces of jewelry like pins, watches, bigger chains, etc. Underneath the box are 4 felt-lined pads so that you don’t scratch up your dresser top or vanity top.
Overall Impressions: Honestly….this Reed & Barton Jewelry Chest is just stunning! It is well-made of extremely high materials. It speaks class & elegance! It is beautiful to look at and is completely functional. It is the prettiest jewelry box I have ever owned. It is a weighty piece so you know it is quality made! I give this company and this product a HUGE two thumbs up! What a beautiful gift this would make for a loved one in your family or even for yourself. Stunning work of art!
