Look Beautiful with Mineral Silk Mineral Makeup!
Today I would like to introduce you to a cosmetic company called Mineral Silk Mineral Makeup. This wonderful company sells mineral makeup such as: foundation, blushes, eye shadows, concealers, lip products and mineral finishing silks. You will also find mineral makeup kits, tools, such as brushes…and skin care products.
Company History: Mineral Silk is a family owned and operated business. De Nelson started her mineral makeup line back in 2004 and has steadily grown her business since then. Mineral Silk uses the highest quality of ingredients with no fragrances, fillers, dyes, waxes or other binding agents that can harm your skin. After trial and error, De Nelson has come up with the perfect formula and that line of makeup is called Mineral Silk.
My Product Review: De was very generous to send me 12 sample pots of Mineral Silk Mineral eye shadows to try out for my review. I want to first start out by saying that I am not a new user of mineral makeup…but this is my first time in trying out the Mineral Silk line of products. The items that she sent to me arrived quickly and were packaged beautifully. What I really appreciated with the packaging is that none of the products leaked…in the past from other company’s I have received a powdery mess from eye shadows leaking all over the place…not so with Mineral Silk Mineral Makeup! I received the following 12 shades of eye shadow to try out: Gossipy Grape, Black Cherry, Malted, Sand Dollar, Dark Chocolate, Amethyst, Cotton Candy, Medallion, Muse, Pink Diamonds, Sweet Tea and Oyster. Wow…that is a lot of samples for me to play with! The first 2 eye shadows I tried out were the Cotton Candy (applied to my eyelids) and then I applied the Pink Diamonds as my high lighter. The eye shadows went on smoothly and blended nicely. They didn’t irritate my eyes at all. Later that night I decided to jazz it up a bit and applied the Gossipy Grape on my eyelids and highlighted that with the Oyster. Again…nice easy & smooth application with no eye irritation. What is really great about using mineral eye shadows that you can wet them and use them as eye liners too! I also love that the colors blend together nicely so you can really mix & match them to your liking. For daytime wear, I liked using the Sand Dollar shade accented with the Sweet Tea shade. I have used 8 out of the 12 sample pots that I have received from De and I look forward to using the other 4 soon. 
My Overall Impression: I have really enjoyed getting to know the Mineral Silk Mineral Eye Shadow line of products. I really appreciate the fact that they have no fillers which can be eye irritants in some people like myself and I didn’t get any irritation in my eyes. The eye shadows went on really smooth and blended well together. The shades are absolutely beautiful and I think all 12 of the shades I received would work well with any skin tone. Shipping was fast & the products were well packaged. I highly recommend that you consider Mineral Silk Mineral Makeup for your mineral cosmetic needs!
