Grounds for Change was generous enough to send me 3 bags of coffee for my product review. I received a bag of: Sumatra Telong, Peru Cafe Femenino and Mexico Chiapas. I want to first state that my order arrived promptly to my home and it was well packaged. I had my hubby open the box and he immediately called me over to the box…he said “Honey, you gotta smell this box!” So, I went over and as I approached the box, I could smell this delicious coffee! Oh my! We were already in coffee heaven and hadn’t gotten to brew it yet. After our dinner, we decided to brew a pot of the Sumatra Telong which is a medium-dark roast, rich full body coffee. After it was done, we sat down to taste it. After a few minutes, I asked my hubby what he thought about it? His reply to me was…”This is one of the best coffees I have ever had.” I would have to agree with him 100%! Wow…it has a slight fruity taste to it and it was smooth and delicious and I didn’t add my normal creamer to it either. The following morning for breakfast, we decided to brew a pot of the Peru Cafe Femenino and that one was just as good. My mother stopped in so I gave her a cup of it and she raved about it’s delicious smooth taste. She really loved it since she enjoys dark roast coffees. Later that day I brewed another pot of coffee when my neighbor Kathy came over for a visit. My friend Kathy is what I call a coffee addict, she will drink 3 pots of coffee a day so I wanted her opinion on this coffee. I brewed a pot of the Mexico Chiapas for her to try and again, another glowing opinion about how great it tasted…matter of fact, when Kathy left, she took the remainder of the bag with her!
My Overall Opinion: Wow…this coffee is one of the bests we have ever tried! I don’t think you can get fresher organic coffee than this! We highly recommend this company and this coffee to you and your family.
