Product Review: Boon Inc. was generous enough to send me one of their bath toys to review called the Splat Floating Ring Toss Toy. I was really excited to get this because I am always looking for high quality toys for my grand daughter. The item was well packaged and I received it quickly. One of the things that immediately impressed me about this toy was the fact that its BPA-Free, Phthalate-Free and PVC-Free which is a big plus in my book! It includes the floating base and 3 colorful rings. We are very fortunate that little G loves to take baths and she absolutely loves bath toys. While I was babysitting her last evening, I decided to give her a bath and I put in her new Splat Toy. At first she wasn’t sure what to do with it since she is only 14 months old…however, once I showed her how to toss the rings onto the floating base, she got busy and tried it herself. After a few attempts, she finally landed one of the rings onto the base! yeah!!! This toy kept her entertained the entire time in the bath tub. Another plus with this toy is its nice compact size, it measures about 6″ in diameter (the base) and would be easy to pack and travel with. (She likes to travel with us and its hard to pack small bath toys, so this was another plus in my book).
Overall Impression: I was really impressed with the high quality workmanship of this toy along with its simplicity and size. I think it would make a great toy for the bath and/or for the baby pool. Because of its small size, there is nothing big nor bulky about it when it comes to storing it between baths. The only thing I would change with this toy would be the color of the white ring. At times we had a hard time finding it in the tub water with all of the bubbles we had in there LOL, other than that, I would highly recommend this item to you or any of the Boon Inc. products.
