Kaponga – The Cream Perfume Company

July 6, 2010 by Classystaff

I had such a treat in store for me when the box from Kaponga, The Cream Perfume Company arrived. Tucked inside was tubes and jars of the most heavenly scents around!

Kaponga, The Cream Perfume Company is the brain child of Mary Johnson. A lover of perfumes but not of all of the chemicals and synthetics added to the products found commercially. Mary decided to creat her own brand of 100% healthy natural and organic ingredients. No harsh chemicals are used. She uses only premium French-Made perfumes from the fragrance capital of the world, Grasse. What she came up with was world-class French fragrance oils blended into refreshing, long-lasting and lightly moisturizing creams for daily use.

Her product line is simple. Moisturizing creams and solid perfumes. That’s it. But with these two lines, you have an amazing scent choices. Oh, they are awesome! What’s even better is that her products are all 100% vegan, wheat and gluten free, contain no glycol, parabens, sulfates, phthalates, silicones, synthetic additives or synthetic fragrances. Her perfumes are all phthalate free and contain no sulfates, petro-chemicals, synthetic dyes, triclosan, GMO, PPG, MEA, DEA, TEA or formaldehyde donors. They are all cruelty free.

The Review:

Mary was kind enough to send me 3 tubes of the moisturizing creams and 2 of the scented solid perfume pots. I had to try my favorite scent first, the Coconut Vanilla. This comes in a traveling size tube of 2.5oz. priced at $7. The product is amazing from the get go. The cream is thick and so luxurious! Not to mention it smelled divine! This product is created from pure and naturally dervied oils and extracts from nature that were combined with premium French certified organic esstential oils to combat dehydrated, sore, inflamed and damaged skin. It will also prevent signs of aging with improved tonicity, elasticity and a desirable plumping effect, as per the directions. I just think that the scent was fabulous and the product immediately moisturized my heavily cracked cuticles and elbow that I have been trying to correct with other lotions. This one did it in about 2 seconds!

I was also able to test the Rose scent and the Lavender. These are the larger 6 oz tubes that retail for $12 and are worth every penny! I love Rose as it always reminds me of my grandmother. It too was wonderful. The scents are so pure and real. You can’t believe that it is a cream perfume and not the real plant. The Lavender was pure and fresh. Just amazing.

The cream pots were absolutely darling! The Cream Perfume Company uses little wooden pots to store the product in, called Nuts. CUTE! and I am sure they protect the product well from loosing its scent as well as being a naturally derived product. Not much plastic here.

The Cream Perfume Company sent me Natural Raspberry and Jasmine in these. Priced at $12 for a .35oz jar. These gems will last quite a while as a little will go a long way. The Jasmine was again just so fresh and pure in its scent. Amazing what 100% natural products will do. The Raspberry was interesting in that I never had smelled a fresh raspberry like that. It is a blend of many scents as all perfumes are. I was expecting a sweet scent. But it was almost a woodsy scent. Very interesting, but nice.

All of the moisterizers can be layered with the cream perfumes of the same scent for a longer lasting fragrance.

I would like to personally thank Mary for allowing me to do a product review for her and for sponsoring a giveaway here on the TCC Blog! Your products are the bomb!
