I have never been overly artistic but I love to think that someday I could learn to be. So when the folks at Faber-Castell agreed to do a review and giveaway with us, I was excited to learn that they wanted to promote their Creative Studio product line.
This line is created for adults or older kids and it has some very cool items! It is comprised of kits geared at helping you learn a new creative art. There is watercolors, sketching, journaling, cards, and many more items. Traditionally, they have created artist sets of pens, pencils, papers and such. Fabulous sets of graphite pencils, oils and pastels, brush pens and a lot more cool items that will get your creative juices flowing.
The Review: Faber-Castell was kind enough to send me the Watercolor Canvas Art Floral Gallery. It was so neat. My friend and I sat down and played for an hour or so. The canvas was totally cool. It was textured so that it would accept the pencil color but yet when you brushed the picture with water, it changed into a watercolor. I had a blast playing with the different colors I could create and the shading I could generate with this.
It came with 4 tiles that each had a different image stamped on them. It also had 6 color pencils, backing foam and the brush. When you are finished with your art, you can then hang it and display it nicely. I am going to put mine in my office. They came out so cute! There are several other Creative Studio items that I would love to try. Great gift idea for moms or dads wanting to get in touch with their creative side. Especially after a long day with the kids!
