Today I would like to introduce you to the company called Soy Candles By Phebes and let me tell you…these soy candles and scented tarts are fabulous! This company uses 100% soy wax, so you will find that your candles burn cleaner and longer than traditional wax candles. This company offers simple, elegantly scented candles for an extremely reasonable price. The scented oils that they use are phthalate free and they are Kosher. This company offers over 90 different scents, so there is something for everyone!
Company History & Facts: Soy Candles By Phebes has been in official business since 2003, before that, candlemaking was a hobby. The company owner has a Boston Terrier named after the Friends TV show character that was named Phoebe. The company owners are Vegan and all of their products are Vegan-Friendly…so rest assured, they have awesome high quality products. This company uses American grown soy beans and absolutely no animal by-products. All of their candle products are hand-made.
Product Review: For my product review I was sent 2 jar candles and 2 packages of scented wax tarts and all of them arrived nicely packaged in a box that arrived to my home within 3 business days.
First up, the 2 jar candles that I received are fantastic! I received one in the Vanilla Pear scent and one in the Bergamot Tarragon scent. These candles come in one size which is 8.5 ounces and each one arrives in a box which makes them perfect for gift-giving. I was really impressed with the glass container because its really thick which makes me feel safer when burning them. I don’t know about you, but I am not fond of thin cheap glass containers…so I really appreciated the high quality thick glass container that these candles are poured into. All of the candles come in a natural color so they will fit into any home decor. I chose to burn the Vanilla Pear in my living room and the Bergamot Tarragon in my kitchen. I really enjoyed the scents of these 2 candles, especially the Vanilla Pear…but my husband preferred the Bergamot Tarragon. These are nicely scented candles, not too over-powering…a nice light scent which is perfect for me!
The next 2 items I got to try out were the scented wax tarts in the Summer Breeze and Lavender scents. These fabulous tarts come in a 3 ounce package containing 6 cubes. You can use 1 cube or the whole package or mix ‘n match your scents. I love that the package is resealable! You can use these tarts in any standard tart melter. Here at my home, I use electric tart melters so I was anxious to put these to the test. First up was the Summer Breeze tarts…which reminded me of standing in a field of wildflowers during the summertime. A nice light floral scent that was not over-powering to your senses and I melted these in my family room. The next ones I tried out were the Lavender scented tarts and I decided to use those in my tart melter that is in our master bedroom since Lavender is so calm and soothing. I have smelled many Lavender scented products over the years and let me tell you this…these are a true scent…they really did smell like Lavender! Overall, I found that these tarts melt nicely and hold their scents extremely well.
Overall Impression: I would highly recommend Soy Candles By Phebes to you for all of your candle needs…whether it be for yourself or as a gift to a loved one. The company offers fast shipping of your order and their customer service is top-notch and easy to work with.
