Wearable Blankets and Sleep Sacks for Baby

Today I would like to introduce you to the company called Baby Haute Couture which features children’s clothing with a unique European flair. I was contacted by Vanina Joulin-Batejat and was asked if I would do a product review for her on their Safe Baby Sleep Sack which is a unique wearable blanket for babies. Wearable Blankets are a common sense choice to keep an infant comfortable, safe and warm.

I received the Safe Baby Sleep Wearable Blanket for my product review. First off, the item arrived quickly and well packaged and came with a brochure with additional information about Baby Haute Couture and their wearable blankets line. I always love it when I receive a new product that the company includes additional informative information.

I was excited to review this product because I recently became a first time grandma to a little precious baby girl. As a new grandmother, I am on the look out for safe products that we can use with Baby G. As soon as I touched the Wearable Blanket I knew this would be a fantastic item…the hand of this item is just fantastic. It is super soft and I mean soft! I would love to have sleepwear in this soft material myself! The one I received is done in a soothing sky blue and mint green color. Those colors just ooze soothing and sleep if you ask me.

The wearable blanket has an easy to use snap closure on each of the shoulders. I like this because it was easy to use when it came to putting on and taking it off of Baby G. I don’t like putting clothing on her that is time consuming or difficult. I also like that down the right side of the wearable blanket (shoulder to the bottom) is a sturdy zipper closure…but yet…its soft (not stiff and itchy). Another thing I liked about it was that the garment tag was not located at the neckline which is bothersome to little babies (I know neckline garment tags irritate me too). The garment tag on the wearable blanket is located in a side seam which is a plus in my book.

The wearable blanket is manufactured in the USA which is another HUGE plus to me and my family as we try to buy American-made products as much as possible. The wearable blanket is machine wash on cold and tumble dry on low. It is made out of super-soft 100% spun polyester. When I say super-soft…I really do mean SUPER-SOFT!

I also love that it has a detachable swaddle blanket on it. You can easily attach or detach it via the Velcro. You (the parent or grandparent) can decide if you want to use the swaddle blanket or not…perhaps you only want to use that feature at night and don’t use it during nap time like we did.

Baby G used her wearable sleep blanket several times a few months ago and slept like a ‘baby’! Her mother who I will call Miss J…loved the ease of use and the soft hand of the wearable blanket along with the safety factor. She could put baby G down to sleep and not worry about her suffocating on a cumbersome traditional baby blanket. This wearable sleep blanket held up well to numerous washings with no pillage or fuzzing of the fabrication.

I give the wearable blanket 10 out of 10 stars on my rating scale. Dealing with Vanina via email has been pleasant, shipping of the product was quick and the garment is of exceptional USA-Made quality! Every new mother needs one of these wearable blankets (in my opinion, she needs several) and they make a fabulous baby gift!
