I had heard a lot about this company over the last few months and I had given a courtesy look at someone’s website just for curiosity’s sake. So, honestly I did not know that much about Stella & Dot when I agreed to do this review.
It’s hard to tell how big or small something is judging by the picture online, so I really was surprised when I opened the beautiful packaging to find this gorgeous Pearl and Black Ribbon necklace. I was totally surprised by the weight of the piece. This is a substantial piece of jewelry. The grosgrain ribbon is nice and wide. The imitation pearls are hand sewn onto the ribbon and are good size. Not dinky pearls at all. What is awesome about this piece is that the drop on the jewels is about 16” alone. There is an additional 16” of ribbon to tie to any length you wish. So you can wear it long or short depending on your outfit. I love that!
