Almost Wordless Wednesday – The Beautiful Pennsylvania Mountains
Last month by husband and I took a trip up north to celebrate our 26th wedding anniversary with some peace and quiet at a luxury resort. We love to travel and we love to take road trips and this particular road trip was a gorgeous one!
Today our “almost” Wordless Wednesday photo/post features a photograph I took of the Pennsylvania Mountains…they were gorgeous and we enjoyed looking at many mountains as we took our drive up north. For miles upon miles that is all you saw…mountains, upon mountains!
Almost Wordless Wednesday – Princess Shelly Organa and Sam Skywalker
My almost wordless Wednesday post today is a photo of a chalk portrait that a professional artist named Andy from Philly made for us. My husband has been a HUGE fan of Star Wars since the early 1980′s and actually collects Star Wars items.
He had Andy portray us as Princess Shelly Organa and Sam Skywalker in our chalk portrait. This beautiful portrait now hangs proudly in our family game room for everyone to see!
What was really cool is that the artist got our looks down pretty good and it only took him 2 hours to make. I believe we paid $150 for it…but it was well worth it as hubby just loves it! (sorry for the flash!).
If you look closely you will see me holding a gun and hubby with his light saber. In the bottom right corner is R2D2 and the Death Star is in the background. We think it’s pretty dang gone cool!
Almost Wordless Wednesday Amazing Beauty of Pebble Beach
I am truly lucky to live where I do although I wish I lived closer to the ocean. One of my favorite places to visit is the Monterey coast and I was there not too long ago. I took this shot right across from Pebble Beach Golf Course and it makes me want to go right back over there today!
Enjoy some west coast beauty!
Almost Wordless Wednesday – My Pet Turtles
My “Almost” Wordless Wednesday post today is all about my 2 pet turtles named Jeeter and Arod. Yes, they were named after the 2 hottie Yankees players!
They are minature red-earred slider turtles that are semi-aquatic. They live in an aquarium (50 gallon) and enjoy both the water and the land. Jeeter is the oldest at almost 4 years of age (he is the smaller one) and Arod is the youngest at almost 3 years of age (he is the larger one).
Just like people who love their cats and dogs, I love my 2 turtles! Enjoy!
