These days there are so many electronic gadgets that we carry with us whenever we go somewhere it is hard to juggle them all without damaging something. Laptops, E-readers, Ipads, Iphones, Camera’s and I am sure there is something I am missing! We are so tech savvy now! I know last month when I went away for the weekend, I had electronics stuffed in my purse, my laptop bag and my overnight bag. I need one stylish go to woman’s gadget bag for electronics alone and I found one at Jill-e!

The Everywear Gadget Bag from Jill-e looks like a fabulous purse but it is a stylish, versatile carry bag that protects your gear. It has built-in padded lens compartments and a protective Ipad section so that you can organize and protect all of your “tech-cessories.” Looking at it, no one would know you’re carrying valuable electronic devices inside.

The bag rocks! I was sent the Tan with Brown Trim, that they call Nougat, bag to review for you today. The fabric is a micro-fiber that you can easily wipe off with a damp cloth to keep clean. The trim is a brown leather and is lovely. There are 2 outside pouch pockets with magnetic close flaps in leather, perfect for phones and keys. The opposite side has a great zipper compartment that is a good size. Not overly deep but it will carry your wallet, pens and other necessities.

Inside the exterior walls are padded as well as the interior dividers to protect your gear. There is a removable sleeve to protect your ipad, e-reader or tablet. There is divided spaces to use it for a camera and lenses and you can use the interior pouches for smart phone, accessories, pens and glasses, etc. It has a top zipper to secure everything. The beautiful leather carry handles have a 9.5” drop.

Today, I would like to introduce you to Ma Mi Skin Care. They are a company, out of Orlando, Florida founded by Lee Israch Wright, a mom of 2. Ma Mi provides a complete line of natural skin care products made especially for moms to help them preserve their natural beauty throughout motherhood. At Ma Mi their mission is “to help moms and expecting moms around the world look and feel healthy, youthful, and vibrant by providing a highly effective, natural, and safe skin care line made to address their unique needs.”

My Review: I was given my choice of product to review, and chose the Satiated Moisturizer. To my surprise, the generous folks at Ma Mi also sent me a sample of the Nightshift Eye Serum for own enjoyment! I had expressed an interest in trying that as well, but never expected they’d send both to me. They arrived nicely packaged in a pretty purple organza pouch. I’ve been using both of these products for the last week, and am very pleased.

For the most part, I have a normal facial skin type, but every winter brings dry sensitive areas. I especially notice the sensitivity after I’ve washed my face, when I apply a moisturizer it almost stings (depending on what I’m using). That was the first thing I noticed when I applied the Ma Mi Satiated Moisturizer, there wasn’t any “after burn”. It went on smoothly, and evenly – 2-3 pumps into my palm was all it took to cover my face, and neck. Another thing I love is that my skin truly does feel hydrated. My face feels less tight, and more protected when I go out in our Chicagoland winds.

I also applied the Nightshift Eye Serum as directed in the morning, and before bed. What I’ve noticed is a lessening of the puffiness around my morning eyes, and I can feel that skin get a little firmer. My husband says I look less tired. I’m not a new Mom, and no longer have to get up every 3-4 hours at night but my eyes definitely are benefiting from using the eye serum.

I love that Ma Mi Skin Care products are designed by a Mom, for Moms. They have been clinically-formulated by doctors to address the specific skin care needs of mothers. Not only are they toxin-free and paraben-free, they are made of natural, highly active ingredients with no wasteful fillers. As you all know…I love to cook, bake and spend time in my kitchen and today I get to introduce you to a fabulous company called Golden Age Cheese. This company is based out of the great state of New York and has been in business since 1983. They produce and sell several different varieties of 100% all natural cheese! You will find such varieties as Swiss Cheese, Mozzarella Cheese, Mild to Aged Cheddars, Smoked Cheese and Muenster Cheese to name just a few.

My Review: For my review I was sent 4 (one pound) bags of Fresh Mozzarella Cheese Curds so that I could try my hand at making fresh homemade Mozzarella String Cheese! yeah! I love trying new and different things and I never imagined I could make my own cheese! You purchase this by the pound and it’s shipped in a cooler to you. How cool is that?

Once my cheese curds arrived I placed them into my refrigerator until the weekend when I would have time to make my own Mozzarella Cheese! Once the weekend came I got my cheese curds out and left them stand at room temperature for 10 minutes. While that was going on, I came onto the Golden Age Cheese site and read their step by step instructions on Mozzarella Stretching which even has great close up photos. I then took my laptop into the kitchen and got busy making my cheese.

We chopped up our cheese curds and placed them into a bowl of extremely hot water (about 150 degrees). We left it sit in the hot water until it was ready to be “worked with”. We found that separating ours into 2 large balls was easier to work with since we had 4 lbs. of curds. My hubby decided to get in on the action and he worked the curds according to their directions until it was ready for stretching. (there is also a step where you need to place your cheese balls into ice water and we did that step too).

He made us 2 oval shaped cheese balls (hubby is not good at making round things LOL), several smaller cheese logs and he made this big flat round piece which we used for a cheese roll up. We simply sprinkled some Oregano, Italian Seasonings, finely diced onion, some slice smoked turkey lunch meat, sliced red tomatoes and minced garlic onto that piece of cheese and then rolled it up like a log. We then placed everything into the refrigerator to chill.

I was really expecting this entire process to be difficult, time consuming and hard…I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to do and thanks to their great intructions on their web site we had fun doing this and it turned out great! Out of everything we made…the Mozarella Italian Cheese Roll was our favorite and we munched on that until it was gone later that night.

 This entire Mozzarella Cheese making & stretching experience was fabulous! Hubby and I made a “date” afternoon of it and really enjoyed ourselves. This is a great activity for those of you who enjoy trying new things or if you home school and need a good kitchen project to do this one would be fabulous.

The cheese that we made that day tasted fantastic! It was a heck of a lot better tasting than that cheese you buy at your local store that has been sitting on the shelf for a few weeks. Can ya all tell how excited I am about this fantastic company and their products? Well, I am! I love this Mozzarella Stretching Kit!
