As each season changes, I am always looking for new things for around my home to spruce it up for that particular season. A few weeks ago I stumbled upon a fabulous company called Madison at Main who sells a wide variety of accent rugs, bath rugs, kitchen rugs, area rugs, decorative rugs and jellybean rugs.

I loved looking at all of their beautiful products on their web site and was super excited when they said ‘yes’ to a product review. Adding a new rug to your home is an inexpensive way to “spruce” it up every season.

For the review I received the gorgeous Shells & Coral Jellybean Accent Rug to review for all of you. My order arrived super quickly to my home and was well-packaged. Once I opened up the box, I just gasped at how beautiful and well-made this rug was!

The accent rug measures 21″ high by 33″ wide and is a 1/4″ thick! It is no little dinky rug and I just love this size as it can be used in so many places around your home. Since it is a jellybean rug, it is great at trapping dirt and it is completely machine washable! You can even put them on your porch or in direct sunlight and the colors will not fade! Wow!

The jellybean accent rugs are beautifully finished off along the edges and on the back, so you never have to worry about it unraveling or fraying. The backs are lined so that the accent rug will not slip or slide around on hardwood or tiled floors.

The front sides are beautiful and very soft. The fabrication reminds me of a yarn that has been crocheted, I love the rug’s texture as it adds interest and depth to the accent rug.

You might be thinking that a nice over-sized accent rug like this would be expensive but think again! This beauty is sold by Madison at Main for only $29.99. Wow, super affordable! I love this rug so much that now I want to purchase a few more for around my house! Isn’t it beautiful? I think so! In addition, they have all kinds of styles in these Jellybean Accent Rugs like Roosters, Beach, Nautical, Country Themes, Florals, Animals, etc. Definitely a theme/design for everyone and for every home decor. I just love this rug!

For the past few years I have really suffered with poor sleep, thanks in part to chronic pain and to noisy neighbors. While on the hunt to find the perfect bed pillow to help me get better sleep, I stumbled upon the Technogel Anatomic Bed Pillow and just knew I had to review it for all of you. 

The bed pillow from Technogel is made for people who suffer from headaches, neck pain, shoulder pain and back pain who need to find a better way to sleep. The pillow is anatomically correct and helps to support your head, neck and shoulders while you sleep. It is geared towards people who are back or side sleepers.

The bed pillow comes with a removable 100% cotton cover which you can toss into the washer when it needs cleaned. There is an additional cover that is permantly attached to the pillow that you never want to remove. The pillow is contoured in shape so your head, neck and shoulders are cradled in comfort. In addition, the pillow is a very nice large size but yet, it still fits in my pillowcases.

Once I received the pillow I immediately started using it. I have had the pillow for about 10 days now and as each night passes, I get better sleep. I admit, the first 2-3 nights it did take me some time to get use to my new pillow because it is bigger, firmer and more heavy than my traditional style pillows. However, after the third night, it felt like I had been sleeping with this pillow for years.

Besides using it to sleep, I like to put it behind my back when I am sitting on a chair or sitting up in bed watching tv. It offers me great back support while sitting too! The pillow is absolutely wonderful and I wish I had found it sooner!

As every year goes by hubby and I are becoming more health conscious and becoming better shoppers when it comes to the items we buy for our home. With that said, we have been purchasing and using more organic and/or eco-friendly products this year than in years past. My Review: The great folks over at Savvy Rest sent me their organic wool bed pillow in the standard size to review for all of you. I have never used an organic wool-filled pillow before so I was really excited about trying it. My order arrived quickly to my home and was well packaged. Once it arrived I took it out of the box and was pleasantly surprised at how lofty it was because I am a total “lofty” pillow type of girl.

The bed pillow is approximately 7″ high (mine measured 7 1/2″) and is filled with organic wool. This type of pillow filling helps to stabilize your body temperature at night so it is great for “hot” sleepers. The wool fiber is a natural insulator (from heat or cold) so having it as the fill in a bed pillow allows the air to flow through, keeping you more comfortable as you sleep. The wool filling promotes moisture evaporation for drier comfort so if you sweat a lot while you sleep, this pillow would be fabulous for you.

I am 44 years old and had surgically induced menopause several years ago (total hysterectomy) so I am a “hot” sleeper who has nightly hot flashes and night sweats. Reading this information about this pillow is why I chose it for my review and let me tell you, I couldn’t be happier with my decision!

For the past week I have been sleeping with this pillow and it is the perfect loftiness and softness for me. In addition, I do believe I am sleeping better thanks to this pillow and I do feel cooler and drier as I sleep. My tossing and turning as totally descreased since switching to this fine bed pillow. Now, I am not making any medical claims but I am honestly telling you that this bed pillow has improved my sleeping comfort. I also love that this pillow has a zipper closure pillow protector that it comes in. You can unzip it, remove it and launder it as you need to.

I am so happy with my new wool bed pillow from Savvy Rest! I wish I had this pillow years ago as I could of improved my sleep back then instead of suffering for a long time with the wrong pillow for me. This is one fantastic bed pillow and I highly recommend it to all of you!
