Cafe Travel Bag from TOM BIHN Bags | Product Review
My husband and I love to travel and we both travel pretty often. With that said, I am very excited to introduce to you today the company called TOM BIHN who makes a line of backpacks, messenger bags, travel bags, laptop bags, briefcases and several accessories.
My Review: The great folks over at TOM BIHN sent me their Small Cafe Shoulder Bag to review for all of you. Now, when I say small…this travel shoulder bag is not small, it can hold a lot of stuff! The bag also comes in a medium size and a large size should you want a bigger sized travel bag.
The Small Cafe Shoulder Bag is the perfect sized bag for everyday use or for when you are out traveling. It comes in various colors that would be suited for girls, boys or you can select a nice unisex color for both.
The bag opens in the front via a flap that has a buckle closure. Once you lift up the flap you will see a nice zipper closure compartment which is perfect for securing passports, tickets, maps, money, etc. anything that you want to keep secured can go into that zipper compartment. Inside the bag’s main compartment you will find 3 small pen holder compartments and a pouch compartment that is perfectly sized to hold your cell phone, eyeglasses or sunglasses. The outside of my bag is done in a beautiful deep purple color and it’s lined in lime green…I love that because I can easily see my bag’s contents against that lime green lining.
There are 2 clip-able leashes inside the bag. One would be great for hooking your car keys or hotel room keys onto and the other one has an included ID holder/change purse clipped onto it. You can remove it and clip on whatever you need to be clipped on!
The back outside of the bag has a deep reach-in pocket so you could toss a map, a book, sunglasses or even a water bottle into that pocket quickly and easily. You can carry this bag 2 different ways. There is an adjustable shoulder strap with a plastic rubber shoulder pad that helps the bag to grip onto your shoulder so it isn’t sliding around. On the back of the bag is a small carrying handle. You can also use that small handle to hook the bag onto your upright luggage while running through the airport, bus station or train station.
I think this travel bag is perfectly sized at 7 1/2″ wide by 11″ high by 3″ in depth and I love the fabrication of this bag which makes it light-weight and easy to clean (1000 Denier Cordura, like a nice nylon). This is a U.S.A. made product and I love purchasing and using U.S.A. made items!
I love my new travel bag and have actually been using it for when we go walking in the park or while I am out running errands. We have 6 vacations planned for this year and I will be taking my new travel bag with me on all 6 of them! I absolutely LOVE this bag! It is made of high-quality materials and is super affordable at only $55.00 each! I give it 10 stars out of 10 stars and highly recommend this product to you!

Great Men’s Winter Socks from Gold Toe | Review and Giveaway

They are made of 75% merino wool, 24% nylon and 1% spandex and are machine wash/dry. These warm and soft men’s boot socks conform to your feet for ultimate comfort and shock absorption. These are nice heavy socks for cold winter weather! A 2-pack of these socks costs $18.99.
During the winter my hubby is often working outdoors shoveling snow, plowing snow off roadways, throwing salt and other nasty winter tasks as part of his job here in PA. so I always worry about him keeping warm. These socks are absolutely perfect for him! A few nights ago we got a dusting of snow and had some sleet so he was out working in the winter elements for about 4 hours and when he got back home his feet were warm and dry. What a difference a good sock makes! He loves all of the arch support and cushioning features of his new socks and has now recommended them to all of his work crew! STUF Men’s Skin Defense Skincare Line Product Review and Giveaway
If your guys in your house are teenage and older, I have some goodies to talk to you about today. As I have written before, my guys have skin issues. Hubby is dry and sensitive, kiddo is acne prone and a tad oily. I found some great products you will want to check out!
STUF is a new men’s skin care line that looks at the differences in men’s skin vs a woman’s and then was formulated to address those differences. For instance, men’s skin is oilier than women’s skin, and their pores are larger (thus they can trap more debris). Although a man’s skin is thicker, it is also usually more sensitive than a woman’s skin. And, a man’s skin is more acidic. Men will typically form deeper facial lines and more age spots than women, and they are more prone to skin cancer. They have more cases of redness, rosacea and under-eye puffiness. Plus men have the beard issues to manage.

I received a facial cleanser, daily moisturizer, after shave balm, facial scrub, shave gel and the body and hair wash for the guys to use. My son used the cleanser and scrub and the body and hair wash. He used the cleanser daily and liked the scent. His face felt good afterward. It was not drying to his face, which is good. The scrub he used about 2 times a week. Any more than that on his young face, and its too much. He liked that too. I like that he is getting used to a routine on a daily basis to keep is face clean and that is helping his acne stay under control longer. He also used the Hair and Body wash and it worked well for his hair which is more on the dry side.
Hubby used the shave gel first. He said it was kinda weird because it did not lather at all, not that it was bad, just different. It did a nice job coating his face for his shave and his face felt nice and smooth. The after shave balm did not work well for him. His skin is sensitive and it got red and irritated in spots. Good one for the son to keep for when he starts shaving on a regular basis. The Moisturizer did well and he had no issues with that. Lastly he used the hair and body wash. It has a nice scent, not overpowering and it did a nice job cleaning.

My guys have completely different skin care needs and that can be tough to address with over the counter items from the store. One has very dry skin and my son is a full blown teenager with teenager skin issues. So wanted to try some different products that will address their skin.

My guys each received a packet of samples that they could use to try out for us. My hubby got the Dry Skin Collection. He has used the products several times and really liked how his face felt. His skin is very dry and flakes in certain spots and this routine really made a difference in his skin from day one. I am not sure if he followed the steps in order as I wasn’t watching him, per se, but his skin came out looking wonderful and it was very soft. His skin was moisturized, clean and no dry spots have been seen. Impressive.
My son used the Oily Skin Collection. He liked the results he got with the system too. He was getting terrible breakouts on his forehead and using the cleanser in the shower and the following it up with the other products in order, he did see a reduction in breakouts over the few days that he used these products. With Oily skin, I know that keeping it clean and on a routine really helps clean them and bring back his nice skin. I loved feeling his face when he was done with the products. It was nice a soft, just liken when he was a kid.
Overall, my guys found these products to be very effective on their individual skin issues and really liked the results.
