Today I would like to introduce you to the company called FoldFlops who makes a line of affordable and stylish sandals for men and women. FoldFlops are foldable, portable flip flop sandals that offer style, comfort and convenience. Unlike traditional flip flops, these FoldFlops fold up to fit into a pocket, purse, briefcase or gym bag. They are light-weight, space-saving and durable.

For the review, we received 2 pairs of FoldFlops to review for all of you. I received a pair in the pretty Champagne color and my daughter Jenelle received a pair in the classic Black color. Each pair of FoldFlops come nicely packaged in a box with a zipper closure storage pouch and 2 red folding rubber-style bands.

The first thing you notice about them is the molded hinge on the outsole that allows you to fold and unfold the sandals (inside sole to inside sole). At first I thought they would be difficult to fold but let me tell you, that hinge makes all the difference! Really easy to fold them and to slip the rubber-style band onto of them to secure them in the folded position.

There is a porous edged topsole to resist dirt and sweat, a ridged outsole to minimize slip, and a cushioned inset to maximize foot and arch support to provide high-level comfort. Foldflops are waterproof and UV resistant. When you get them dirty or sandy…you can rinse them off with soap and water (or) toss them into your washing machine on the gentle cycle. Very cool!

My daughter Jenelle (also a reviewer on this site) and I have been sporting around our new FoldFlops for over a week now! We both love them! They are super comfortable on your feet and you can walk around for hours upon hours wearing them. Jenelle has been keeping hers folded up in her work desk and wears them around the office or during her lunch break. I have been wearing mine around the house, to the gym and for when I go out walking with my mommy walking group. These FoldFlops are fantastic and I will be taking mine on vacation when I leave in 3 weeks to go to the beach. I am definitely not leaving them behind! We give them 10 stars out of 10 stars on our rating scale!

Today I would like to introduce you to the footwear company called Smartdogs who makes a wonderful line of slippers for men and women. You will find thong slippers, scuff style slippers, clog slippers, boot slippers, moccasin slippers, slides and more! My Review: I was sent a pair of their Uplift Synergy Thong Slippers to review for all of you. Even though they are labeled as slippers, I would certainly wear them out to the beach or pool too! They are available in 4 different color combinations and I received the pink/black color combination. These slippers are machine wash on the gentle cycle and air dry. For the ordering process, I would stay true-to-size.

The uppers on the slippers are made out of a stretch neoprene material and the Active Comfort sole provides excellent cushioning, traction, and durability. Honeycomb comfort footbed soothes and invigorates feet. Each style features an anti-bacterial mesh footbed, gel heel pad and an energy stimulating color chakra to enhance your comfort and well-being.

Since receiving these slippers I have been wearing them all around my house and let me tell you, they are super comfortable thanks to that cushion insole! Your foot just sinks into it and you feel like you are walking on a cloud. Sometimes thongs don’t stay on my feet very well, but these do!  There is great traction on the soles of the slippers too! I tried them out on my slippy tile floor in my bathroom and kitchen and I didn’t slip at all. Very stable when walking on slick surfaces.

I then decided to wear them outdoors and took a walk through my neighborhood with my mom. They were even more comfortable than my sneakers and I love that my feet can breathe while wearing them. Summer is almost here and I hate sweaty feet! I appreciate that when I get them dirty, I can just toss them into my washing machine for a cleaning. Totally cool!

You can purchase the Uplift Synergy Thong Slippers directly from Smartdogs for only $45.00. Even though they are technically a slipper, I would not hesitate in wearing them as a summer sandal too! Fabulous!!!

I love shoes. Our love affair started when I was a young college student and was buying all of my own clothes and supporting myself. Back then, comfort was secondary to looks and it really didn’t matter much. Today thanks to my years of wearing 3-4 inch pumps every day to work, standing on my feet all day long and going barefoot as much as possible the rest of the time, comfortable womens shoes has to be my number one priority now. I was able to get a pair of the Color Blocked wedges which really gave me a flash back deja’vu feeling! The wedge is super comfy and squishy feeling so I know wearing these for long periods of time is going to be a plus. The Upper is soft and super cute. The brown strap is leather and the red is a shiny vinyl but both are completely finished inside for ultimate comfort on your tender feet. The strap has a side buckle with a few holes for size adjustment. The bed of the shoe is very comfortable and soft.

I think many of you can relate to a secret I have. I don’t like shoes much…. well, let me clarify! It is a love/hate relationship these days. I LOVE shoes, but I love going barefoot more! LOL So when I got a chance to try out a super simple open toe hint of a shoe, I was on it.
