Wordless Wednesday – New York Times Square at Night
Today I thought I would share another photo with all of you for our Wordless (Almost Wordless) Wednesday post. This photo was taken in early January and is of Times Square in New York City while it is all lit up at night. Isn’t it pretty? We really enjoyed our New York City trip that was sponsored by Pretzel Crisps!
I had a Great Time in New York City Thanks to Pretzel Crisps!
As you all know…my husband and I spent a few days up in New York City this week thanks to the great folks over at Pretzel Crisps! If you have never tried any of the Pretzel Crisps snacks…we highly recommend them! They are flat oven-baked pretzel crackers that taste super delicious! My favorite 2 flavors are the Original Pretzel Crisps and the Garlic Parmesan Pretzel Crisps and my husband absolutely loves the Buffalo Wing Pretzel Crisps and the seasonal Dark Chocolate with Peppermint Candy Pretzel Crisps.
When we have Pretzel Crisps here in our home we have to hide them as my 65 yr. old mother, 26 yr. old daughter and even our almost 3 yr. old granddaughter love them too!
The Pretzel Crisps folks sent me up to New York City for 3 days and 2 nights to serve as their Brand Ambassador and we stayed in the luxury hotel called Element by Westin and that place is totally fabulous! It is a 40 story hotel with 10 rooms per floor in the heart of the city! Seriously, this hotel rocks as it is close to everything! It is very clean, modern, eco-friendly and the entire hotel staff is friendly, helpful and courteous!
We got to take in a Broadway Show called “How to Succeed in Business without Really Trying” and it was a fabulous show! I am so glad that the folks over at Pretzel Crisps sent us to this show as hubby and I loved the show! If you ever get a chance to see it…we recommend it! Hubby and I got to walk around Broadway and visit the Theater district which was a lot of fun! I never realized how many Broadway and Off-Broadway Shows there were until now. Hubby and I would like to visit again and take in a few more shows later this year.
We also walked down to Times Square and had a lot of fun doing that! We got to see the New Year’s Eve ball which was still hanging up from this past New Year’s Eve festivities. We got to check out all of the celebrity “hot spots” on Times Square and we enjoyed a little shopping while we were down there. We were amazed at how beautiful Times Squares looks at night with all of those neon lights on!
The following day we went out to lunch and did a little shopping around our hotel which was a lot of fun! I picked up some souvenirs for our daughter, granddaughter and my mother. If you love shopping (and I know all of us women love to shop)…New York City is fabulous for that! After we spent time doing that we got all cleaned up & dressed up and headed out to Patsy’s Italian Restaurant for dinner. Hubby got a steak with vegetables and I got a bowl of pasta soup and our meal was totally delish! Thank you Pretzel Crisps for picking up the tab! After dinner we headed back down to Times Square to do a little more shopping and sight-seeing.
On Thursday morning our driver Andy came to pick us up and he drove us back to our home down in Pennsylvania. We loved being driven around like we were some type of “celebrity” by Andy! LOL He is super nice and made our trip very pleasant! yeah!!!
I had a wonderful time in New York City as the Pretzel Crisps Brand Ambassador and I would like to take this time to thank Pretzel Crisps and Jessica who works for Pretzel Crisps for this amazing opportunity! We are so greatful and so humbled that you selected us to represent you in NY City!
You can visit Pretzel Crisps web site to learn more about their delicious snack foods and you can follow/like them over on Facebook and/or Twitter.
Thank You Pretzel Crisps!
Wednesday in New York City – Pretzel Crisps Trip
As you all know…I have been up here in New York City for the past few days as the Pretzel Crisps, Brand Ambassador. Well…today I am going to tell you what hubby and I got to do yesterday while up here in New York City.
Wednesday afternoon we decided to do some shopping so we walked a few city blocks and went in and out several fine New York City stores. I was able to purchase a few souvenirs for our 26 yr. old daughter and our 2 1/2 yr. old granddaughter. While we were out shopping we decided to pick up a light lunch right around the corner from our hotel. Check out those crowded NY City streets!
We then went back to our hotel and got cleaned up because Pretzel Crisps made us dinning reservations at Patsy’s Italian Restaurant which was a few blocks away. I enjoyed a bowl of soup for dinner and hubby went all out and enjoyed a nice steak and some vegetables. The dinner was absolutely delicious and we hope to dine again some day at Patsy’s Italian Restaurant. Thank you Pretzel Crisps for picking up the tab…we loved the food there and the staff was super nice!
After dinner we decided to walk back to our hotel so we could visit Times Square and wow…is that place ever amazing! There are tons of placed to shop at, a lot of celebrity hang-outs, tons of places to eat at and guess what? We got to see the famous “New Year’s Eve” ball which was still hanging up from the New Year’s Eve festivities! It was really cool looking! There were thousands of people hanging out and walking around in Times Square and I think some celebrities must of been in the area too because we saw limo’s and bodyguards around the area while we were there.
What an amazing trip we had thanks to the generous folks over at Pretzel Crisps! I was very proud to be the Pretzel Crisps, Brand Ambassador this past week up in New York City!!! If you have never tried any of the Pretzel Crisp’s snacks, we highly suggest that you do! They are flat pretzel crackers that are oven-baked and are less calories and fat than “most” of your traditional snack foods. In addition…they taste absolutely DELICIOUS!
I will be making another blog post later tonight or tomorrow morning to “sum up” my trip to New York City! Again…thank you Pretzel Crisps for this amazing opportunity! You can follow Pretzel Crisps over on Facebook and/or on Twitter.
Enjoyed a Broadway Show Last Night – Thanks to Pretzel Crisps!
As you all know…I am up here in New York City as the Brand Ambassador for Pretzel Crisps. If you have never tried this thin, baked, crunchy delicious pretzel cracker…I highly suggest that you do!
Last night the great folks over at Pretzel Crisps sent my husband and I to a Broadway Show. We got all dressed up and arrived at the show around 6:50pm last night. The show we went to see was called “How to Succeed in Business without Really Trying” starring Darren Criss and Beau Bridges. I am a huge fan of Anderson Cooper from CNN and his wonderful voice narrates the story as it goes along.
The story is about a window washer named “Finch” who is determined to rise quickly to the top of the corporate ladder armed with little more than his wits and a guidebook to corporate climbing. He applies for employment with World Wide Wickets and lands a job in the mailroom. As the story goes along, “Finch” buddies up to the “right” people along the way to get various promotions up the corporate ladder. Along the way he falls in love with Rosemary and reaches his dream job when he is finally promoted to “Chairman of the Board”.
“How to Succeed in Business without Really Trying” is playing at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre so if you get the chance…you should go see it! My hubby and I absolutely loved it! After we saw the show we walked to a local eatery and grabbed a bite to eat before heading back to our hotel room to get a good night’s sleep.
I will make another blog post later tonight to let you all know what we did today as we are having a lot of fun up here in New York City! Make sure you are following Pretzel Crisps over on Facebook and/or Twitter so that you can stay up to date on my New York City fun!
