Pure and Natural Desert Harvest Aloe Vera Gelé

When you think of Aloe Vera, what comes to mind? For me, it’s the tried and true remedy for sunburn, but I’m here to tell you, Aloe Vera can do so much more. I recently tried out Aloe Vera Gelé from Desert Harvest and I’m definitely hooked on this great skin care product. This product was the very first in the Desert Harvest line, that was launched back in 1994 and while the company has expanded its offerings to include 100% natural creams, gels and hair care products, they’ve kept this product around and there’s a good reason why.

The Desert Harvest Aloe Vera Gelé penetrates deep into the dermis to help improve the skin’s natural firmness, keeps the skin hydrated and contains antibacterial, anti-fungal and antiviral compounds that may help prevent wound infections and stimulate collagen synthesis and skin regeneration. This product, as well as all of the Desert Harvest skin care products is made with the purest ingredients, no parabens or artificial ingredients.

Pure and Natural Desert Harvest Aloe Vera Gelé

I’ve always known aloe as a healing plant, but I had no idea that it includes over 75 vitamins, minerals, amino acids, salicylic acid and polysaccharides that have been shown to help with the reduction in swelling, redness and irritation. Aloe helps with collagen production and tissue regeneration and is an ideal ingredient to use for burns, sunburns, eczema, psoriasis, rosacea, acne, bug bites, poison ivy/oak, hives, rashes, shingles, dryness, vulvodynia, lichen sclerosus, and Sjogren’s. It’s also helpful for clearing up dandruff, combatting thinning hair and can even be used as an after shave or under make-up to moisturize and soften the skin. I have fairly sensitive skin and I’ve been using this on my forehead, as I just can’t seem to clear up a mild rash. This product really seems to be doing the trick, after only using it a few days. Aloe moisturizes without leaving the skin greasy and does not clog oily skin.

The Aloe Vera Gelé is the real deal—the ingredients included in Desert Harvest products are chosen for their quality, purity and therapeutic properties. The company uses only natural preservatives, no fillers and no artificial perfumes.
