Homemade Chocolate Marble Fudge Recipe

Homemade Chocolate Marble Fudge RecipeI’ve been spending a lot of time at my daughter’s house helping her to recover from major surgery. One of Shelly’s favorite sweet treats happens to be homemade fudge, so I decided to surprise her with a batch of one of her favorite flavors.

This fudge does take some time to make and you will need a candy thermometer when making it. However, you’re fudge-making efforts will be well-rewarded with a creamy and delicious batch of homemade fudge!

Homemade Chocolate Marble Fudge Recipe

6 cups granulated white sugar
12 ounce can evaporated milk
1 cup butter, softened
8 ounces cream cheese, softened
2 jars (7 ounces each) marshmallow creme
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 cups white chocolate baking chips
1 cup milk chocolate chips
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
2 tablespoons cocoa powder

Line a 13″ by 9″ baking dish with aluminum foil and set aside.

In a large saucepan mix together the granulated sugar, evaporated milk, butter and cream cheese. Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat and cook for 7 minutes, stirring the mixture constantly to keep it from scorching. Turn the heat down to low and simmer on low for 10 additional minutes, stirring occasionally. Once it reaches 225 degrees on a candy thermometer, remove from heat.

Stir in the marshmallow creme and the vanilla extract. Place the white chocolate baking chips in a large bowl. Pour 4 cups of the hot marshmallow mixture over the top, stir to blend. Stir in the milk chocolate & semi-sweet chocolate chips, and the cocoa powder into the remaining marshmallow mixture to blend the ingredients together. Do not over-stir.

Next, you’ll want to layer the two mixtures in your prepared baking dish by pouring 1/3 of the white mixture into the dish, spreading it in an even layer. Pour 1/2 of the chocolate mixture over-the-top, spreading evenly and then repeat until all the mixture has been used. Use a silicone spatula to swirl the two mixtures together for the marbled-design look.

Let the fudge sit on your counter for approximately 30 minutes and then cover it with aluminum foil. Place baking dish in the refrigerator and chill for 2 to 4 hours or until it has set. Remove and let sit at room temperature for 5-10 minutes before cutting it into squares. Store fudge in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
