Holy cows! We’re only 4 days away to the official start of spring! My kids have been looking forward to it as they’re tired of being cooped up indoors from the freezing cold weather. They like snow, but do get bored with it. They’re ready to be outside and playing in the backyard and visiting the park. I have to admit, I’m ready for the warmer weather too!

Update on my Mom – My mother (Shelly) had surgery on March 13th and had a total knee replacement. She’s doing fairly okay, but still having a lot of post-surgical pain. We would appreciate all of your good thoughts and prayers as she will have a long and difficult recovery process. The blog will be updated daily, but we won’t be updating our social media channels on a daily basis for the next 2-3 weeks. Your best bet is to bookmark the blog and check-in every day on the blog to see what’s new. In addition, we will be a lot slower answering emails over the next 2-3 weeks too.

Thank you for taking time out of your week to read the Two Classy Chics blog. We appreciate our readers! Enjoy your weekend.

  1. Thank you for the update on your mom I have been thinking about her all week long so glad to hear she is doing well. I will keep her in my prayers and hope she is back to 100% very soon. Thank you for another wonderful week on the blog.

  2. Sending thoughts and prayers to Shelly. I had surgery on March 15th. I had some complications after surgery, and now sitting here with a catheter until Tuesday. I have 2 very young children, and I feel badly for not being able to care for them right now like I normally do. Thank goodness my husband is home for the weekend to help everyone. It’s so nice to be able to read blogs like yours while I have to rest. I’m a really active person, so this is really tough for me.

I am still praying for Shelly for a easier recovery. We understand that you need to take care of her and not put 100% attention on the blog. Thank you for what you can do. We will be still be here as she recovers.

I shall pray for Shelly’s more rapid recovery from the surgery. I thank you for informing us. As usual I like the quote of the week.
