The Saturday Evening Post Christmas Treasury Prints and Coloring Book

The Saturday Evening Post Christmas Treasury Prints and Coloring BookThree years ago I jumped on the adult coloring book bandwagon and haven’t looked back since. I enjoy sitting down in the evening while watching TV and coloring. It helps me to relax and to unwind after a long day. Not only is it relaxing, it’s a great way for me to explore my creativity at the same time.

The Saturday Evening Post Christmas Treasury Prints and Coloring Book

Before I get started with my review…I wanted to let you know that I used premium glitter gel ink pens to color in the designs that I’m featuring in my post. In my honest opinion, they’re the best glitter gel ink pens in the retail marketplace!

If you’re a fan of vintage Christmas prints and images, you’re going to LOVE this new book! The front half of the book contains 30 high-quality, ready-to-frame reprints which you simply remove from the book and frame. They’re perfect to decorate your home for the holiday season. On the back of each page you’ll be given the artist’s name, title of the print and the name of the issue that the print appeared in. The images include multiple decades from the early 1900’s through the mid 1950’s.

The second half of the book contains the matching black & white coloring pages which you will then color-in using your favorite coloring medium. What I really like is that I can look at the reprint in the front of the book to see how I should color-in the matching design or I can get creative and use my own imagination. These designs are pretty detailed in nature and will take you a few hours to complete each one.
