Kid’s Interchangeable Backpacks and Lunchboxes from Kidaroo

Kid's Interchangeable Backpacks by KidarooMy granddaughter is in the third grade and just like all school-aged children, she has to carry a backpack and lunchbox to school every day. For the majority of children, that means the same old, same old backpack and lunchbox every day. Well, until now!

Let me introduce you to Kidaroo who makes a line of interchangeable backpacks and lunchboxes that are super-cute! Even though they’re adorable, they provide a great function too! We’re super-excited to have Kidaroo as part of our annual holiday gift guide this year and I think you’re going to LOVE these products!

What’s really cool about these backpacks and lunchboxes is that you buy your base color backpack and/or lunchbox. You then buy decorative flaps that attach easily to the item. Your child can change out the design within seconds, as their mood changes. There are fun designs for boys and girls.

We received a complimentary pink backpack and lunchbox from Kidaroo, along with 3 interchangeable flaps for each item. As soon as the box arrived, the Princess was in-love! She couldn’t make up her mind on which design she liked best and I told her that she didn’t have to choose and that she could use all three! She can change them as often as she likes!

The backpacks are extremely well-made and are light-weight. They have adjustable and padded shoulder straps, an outside flap-closure pocket and two outside reach-in pockets which are perfect for water bottles. The interchangeable flap designs for the backpacks attach quickly and easily with velcro. There are metal rings on the outside where a child can attach keychains or attach anything that they want to clip onto the outside of their bag. The bottom has four feet to protect it which is a really nice feature.

Inside the bag you’ll find a padded compartment which is the perfect size to hold a small laptop or a large tablet. There is a large main compartment inside the bag to place text books, note books and other items that your child needs to carry back and forth to school. I really love how all of the compartments keep things organized and within easy sight. The back-side of the backpack is nicely padded which prevents text books and other items from digging into your child’s back. They thought of everything when these created and designed this backpack!

The lunchboxes are extremely well-made too! You can purchase them to match the backpack or mix-n-match the designs. There is a carrying handle and an adjustable shoulder strap, so your child can use the bag either way. There are four feet on the bottom and an open side pocket. The interchangeable flap designs for the lunchbox zip on and off within seconds.

The inside of the lunchbox is nicely padded to help protect the contents inside and you’ll find the main compartment along with an interior mesh pocket which is great for holding napkins and utensils. The Princess can easily get her sandwich, two sides, a snack and her juice box into this lunchbox. She can carry it, sling it over her shoulder, toss it into her backpack or clip it to the outside of her backpack depending on her particular needs that day.

The Princess loves her new backpack and lunchbox! She can change out the designs as the mood strikes! The backpack keeps all of her school books and items neatly organized and we love how the backpack doesn’t dig into her shoulders or back (thanks to the padding). The lunchbox is a big hit too! What a great set!
