Unlike some people, I actually enjoy cooking and baking for my family. I’m a firm believer that you enjoy it a LOT more when you have the proper kitchen tools and accessories which make your job a lot easier. One such item that should be in every kitchen is a tempered glass cutting board. Why you might ask? Well, I’m going to tell you!

5 Reasons Why Every Kitchen Needs a Tempered Glass Cutting Board
1. Does multiple duties in the kitchen! You can use it as a cutting board and you can use it as a serving platter too! I like to serve sliced up meats, cheeses, vegetable sticks, cookies, artisan crackers and other things on my glass cutting boards when I host parties and family get-together’s.
2. They don’t scratch, stain or hold stinky odors! I have one of these glass boards from 1985 that I received as a wedding gift. After 30+ years of continual use, it still looks great!
3. You can use them as a dough board when rolling out cookies, breads, soft pretzel dough, etc. I lightly flour mine and use them as dough boards all of the time when I’m doing some baking. My dough never sticks to them! When you’re done, it’s a LOT easier to clean this board, than to clean a standard dough board!
4. If we’re doing some entertaining, I’ll use one or two of them as beverage serving trays! They’re great for holding wine bottles and wine glasses, a pitcher of iced tea and tea glasses, a coffee pot and coffee cups, or whatever beverage you may be serving.
5. Clean-up is a snap! You can hand-wash them in the sink with a little liquid soap and water or put it into your dishwasher. I do mine both ways and have never had an issue. Unlike wooden cutting boards, you can towel dry these boards and they’re dry. You don’t have to wait hours for them to dry!

Each one is made out of durable tempered glass and on the bottom you’ll find four rubber feet to protect your counter-top and table-top surfaces. These boards come in a ton of different designs and are the type of cutting boards that you want to leave sit out…they’re beautiful!
I’ve been using my new tempered glass cutting board almost every day since receiving it and I love it! As I’ve already mentioned, I use it for all kinds of different things. When it’s not in use, it proudly sits on my kitchen counter-top for the world to see! LOVE IT!
