Easy to Make + Healthy Green Juice Recipes

During this time of the year, I try to take advantage of all of the fresh fruits and vegetables that are in-season. Every week I head to the local farmer’s market and stock up on some of my favorites. Since I don’t eat enough of fresh fruits and vegetables throughout the day, I like to get up early in the morning and blend up a pitcher of homemade juice.

Sometimes I’ll use recipes (like the two below) and at other times I’ll just toss whatever I have on-hand into my juicing machine. Once I have everything blended up, I like to enjoy a glass right away and the rest goes into a beverage pitcher & into my refrigerator for me to enjoy throughout the day.

If you’re not a big fan on juicing, I recommend two things: 1. Add more “sweet” fruits into your recipe to sweeten it up (avoid adding sugar) and 2. Chill your homemade juice for at least 2 hours to get it nice and cold or serve it in a glass full of ice.

Our guest post recipes that I’m sharing with you today are courtesy of HUROM.

I never thought to wash the lemon with baking soda. That is a great way to make sure that you can use the peel too. I need to try more juicing with vegetables. I know it would be good for me.

This really is the best way to make sure you get your juices and veggies. Homemade in your blender. Really sounds so healthy. I must admit that some of the veggies and fruit mixtures don’t sound too appealing. But they do taste delicious. I agree with letting it get cold in the refrigerator before drinking! Thank you for sharing your 2 recipes. I really would like to try the Orange, pineapple. kale & spinach one.
