Sweet & Tangy Marinade & Mop Sauce from the Sauce Goddess

Last weekend we had some storms blow through our area and had planned on tossing some chicken onto the grill. However, since the weather was nasty, we ended up marinading the chicken for 4 hours in the Sweet & Tangy Marinade & Mop Sauce and then baking it in the oven. As soon as you open up the jar…you’re greeted with a delicious smelling aroma!

As the chicken was in the oven baking, my entire kitchen filled up with the most incredible smell. You could tell that something good was baking away in my oven and that smell made you even more anxious for dinner to get done!

My husband and I couldn’t get over how delicious the Sweet & Tangy Sauce tasted! You could taste the flavor through the entire piece of chicken, just NOT on the skin, but the entire way through which was really nice. Next, this was the absolute PERFECT sauce for us to try since we tend to like our sauces & marinades on the sweet side. This is definitely sweet, but not overly so. Plus, there is just a tad of tang to it, nothing spicy nor hot. Just perfect if you ask me!

Chicken Made with Sweet & Tangy Marinade & Mop Sauce from the Sauce Goddess

I do have a little funny to share with all of you. While the chicken was baking, my daughter walked into my house…smelled the chicken, saw the other 2 jars of sauce sitting there and snagged one on her way out the door. After smelling our dinner baking, she was now craving it and went home to prepare a chicken dinner for her family too. The report back: “Mom, you need to buy a case of those sauces!”

Head on over to the Sauce Goddess to check out all of the delicious products that they have to offer and join the company over on Facebook too!

I love the name mop sauce! That is pretty clever. Really it looks good and if your daughter says buy a case it must be awfully good. I bake chicken quite a bit and this sounds delicious.I bet your whole house smelled great . Now to make a candle that smells like that ha!

  8. The cute names, The Sauce Goddess and Mop Sauce, caught my eye and I’m keeping them in mind for new sauce purchases. I have been using a new spicy ketchup I won and the cayenne in it really gives everything a kick, I appreciate that the Sauce Goddess has some low sugar items too.
