When I traveled around Europe several years ago I noticed that a lot of people used butter crocks to keep their butter fresh, at room temperature. These crocks serve an important purpose and they look beautiful sitting on your table or kitchen counter.

I think turquoise is my favorite color in the butter crocks. I love that you can leave this out of the fridge so the butter stays spreadable. My Grandma had a similar butter keeper when I was a kid & it stayed on her kitchen table.
