I love in north west New Jersey so I watch your blog carefully. Im always looking for ideas for my young grandchildren. We are lucky to have some farms arounfd here that have festivals. They are such fun.

  3. I love going to places like these in the country much better than any mall trip. The strawberry festival sounds like something I would have fun doing too. I think it is so important for children to experience farms and petting zoos.

  4. I know they have strawberry festivals about an hour away in Oxnard, CA, but I haven’t taken advantage of all the activities available around here at all. Growing up,I lived closer to Indiana than Pennsylvania, near the state boarder in fact, so rarely trekked there and am now sorry I missed all the activities out that way. I’d love to visit a fruit orchard and there should be plenty around here.

My Grand Children would love it if we lived in central Pennsylvania. You have so many activities around you, it’s just Awesome. We live in a small town in Illinois about 80 miles southwest of Chicago! Not a lot to do. In the early fall we have Harvest Days which is fun. There is a carnival, Craft markets, food drink and entertainment! The kids look forward to it every year. We moved here 12 yrs ago from the Chicago suburbs right next to O’hare Airport!! Much more peaceful here.which we appreciate! Thank You for sharing your fun filled post!!
