My mom spends several days a week at our home, so when she’s here, I have to be very careful on what I’m cooking and serving to her. One of the things I appreciate with this book is all of the educational information contained within it. Whether you’re newly diagnosed or have been diagnosed for years, you’ll learn something new.

Next, when mom is here…it’s just three adults and when she’s at her own home, well, then just one adult. It’s nice to finally have a cookbook that is for cooking smaller portions for just one or two people. I really appreciate that the authors speak in layman’s terms and almost all of the ingredients in the various recipes can be found at your local grocery store. You won’t have to run all over town searching for the correct items.

All of the foodie photography in this book is mouth-watering and will inspire you to get busy making the recipes. Finally, mom really likes that there are 150 recipes in the book along with a 14-day meal plan which helps her to plan out her meals.
