Baby Shower Blue Punch Recipe

Today I am sharing DIY instructions with all of you on how to make the baby shower party punch and to give you an idea on how you can serve it. We used a 5 gallon glass beverage dispenser and then added 3 little rubber duckies on top. If you are worried about them toppling off, just add a few adhesive glue dots (scrapbooking) to their bottoms. Cute!

Baby Shower Blue Punch Recipe

1 pkg. Unsweetened Berry Blue Kool-Aid
2 liter bottle 7-Up Soft Drink
64 oz. bottle White Grape Juice
3/4 cup Granulated Sugar
Ice Cubes

In a large beverage dispenser combine together the unsweetened Berry Blue Kool-Aid, the bottle of 7-up and the bottle of white grape juice. Stir until it’s combined. Then add in the 3/4 cup of granulated white sugar. Stir until combined and until the sugar has completely dissolved.

We then tossed in 2 trays of ice cubes. You can use plain water for your ice or mix up a batch of Berry Blue Kool-Aid in a 2 quart pitcher. Pour Kool-Aid into ice trays and freeze. Pop the ice out and put in a gallon size zipper bag and repeat…until you make the amount of ice cubes you think you will need.

That’s it! Super easy and it looks great sitting on the table! I really recommend that you invest in a good glass beverage dispenser. Once you have one, you’ll use it all of the time! They’re great for backyard barbecues, family get-togethers, during the holiday season, birthday parties, baby showers, retirement parties, bridal showers, etc. I like the ones with a flat top the best, because you can decorate the top in a different way, every time you host a party!

The idea of adding the rubber duckies on top is a very cute one. You could also use baby booties. This recipe sounds ideal for a baby shower and could easily be changed if you know a baby girl is expected.

This is a cute idea. And, obviously, you could use something like pink lemonade instead of the blue berry if it’s a girl.

  6. Very cute punch. I like the idea of making the blue ice cubes ahead of time so you have plenty.
