Little Black Dress Rosé is the Perfect Summer Accessory

Little Black Dress WinesA trend that I’ve spotted this summer and actually over the last few years is the popularity of Rosé wine. Rosé consumption has actually been on the rise for the last decade and the United States is currently ranked as the world’s third largest producer of rosé wine and is gaining ground as the trend shows more passion for pink year after year.  Little Black Dress Wines (LBD) is making the perfect entrance to the party with their recently introduced LBD Rosé.

I love several things about this wine. First, I adore the new label. It has a sophisticated, yet simple look. I also love the price. It is a tasty wine for under $12. The LBD is a perfect summer wine with its juicy flavors of ripe berries and just a little hint of sweetness with a very clean finish. It has some subtle notes of strawberry and grapefruit and maybe even a little peach.

Little Black Dress Rose Wine

This wine pairs well with cheese and crackers, hummus and pita chips or even a light spinach salad, and would be quite delicious as sangria with some apples, plums and strawberries. It is an approachable, delicious wine that is ideal for picnics, pools and patios, but doesn’t have to only be enjoyed in the summer. Rosés can be enjoyed all year long and especially fun as part of a girl’s night in (Bachelor Nation, anyone?).

LBD Rosé is crafted by winemaker and California native, Margaret Leonardi, at the brand’s winery in Mendocino Country, CA and contains 54% Gewurztraminer, 23% Muscat, 14% Chardonnay, 5% Zinfandel, and 4% other complementary white varietals. If rosé isn’t quite your style, Little Black Dress Wines has something that can fit every palate. In addition to the LBD Rosé, the LBD wine portfolio includes Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, Diva Red, Merlot, Moscato, Pinot Grigio, and Pinot Noir.

LBD Rosé is available throughout the United States through Excelsior Wine Company for approximately $11.99.

I like rose wines and did not realize that they were becoming more popular. California is making some very good wines. I love the reasonable price of this LBD wine..

It sounds really nice. I do love strawberry & peach, so a hint of that is appealing.

  4. I do like rose wine. I just haven’t been drinking much wine at all. I lived in Germany for 2 years and learned to love wines.
